He's still a waste of space and a drain on resources

Equally important is his own career - the longer he stays with us the less likely he is to ever get his career back track. To be honest he seems like a really nice guy, his confidence is shot to shit and he can't be enjoying his football over here. I really want to see him back in Spain banging in the goals and enjoying his football again

I agree and it appears he wants to leave too, but I can't say the same for Ade and he's the man I want out.
RS is shot of confidence but I still prefer him and his wages to that other cancer.

We need them both out really

Neither will serve any purpose in our squad next season so both need to be sold

Would def give Soldado a chance to impress in pre-season. If we don't sign a RWF then Lamela will have to play on the right and that will only leave Eriksen as a no.10. Could use Soldado as cover there, his link up play has always been class. Pretty sure when we've played Kane and Soldado together it's been Kane taking the deeper role which I think is a mistake

I'd sooner give players like Pritchard, Oduwa and Onomah game time as cover for our starting players than persist with Soldado who has shown as time and time he's not up to the task

We need to sell him, he needs a move. Our youngsters would only be denied valuable playing experience by a player who really has nothing to offer us other than being a likable guy we all want to succeed

I really am dismayed on here how so many are finding perfectly acceptable that we have a £26million striker who has been nothing but a disaster and couldn't hit a proverbial cow's arse with a banjo!

I don't want to listen about 'experience' and being a 'good guy' - I want my striker to score goals and can slot in as and when in being a functional member in our system.

Call a spade a spade instead of literally scraping the barrel for excuses for his continued inclusion.

There are worse attributes to have for a 3rd striker. He seems to have the proper attitude and work ethic on the training pitch, and that is worth a lot on a team as young as Spurs.

I still like Soldado. He was such a clever striker in Spain, and I was convinced he was going to do well for us.

There's been a lot of reports of his good attitude, and he does seem like a good character to have in the squad. Unfortunately the bottom line for a striker is goals, and for whatever reason it's just not happening for him.

I'd be happy enough to keep him as a 3rd choice striker, but if an upgrade is available we should go for them.

Bullshit mate.

Maybe indeed; I still expect to see him go before the close of the window but it hasnt seemed as though bobby was being frozen out of things for pre-season or that he'd had any falling out with the club so could have been part of the pre-season games.
