Such a silly argument anyway, never did get this "buying" the title talk as it's essentially a sly way of mocking a team who spends money in order to have success.

he did say on the interview Sky Sports News that's what Abramovich did when he bought Chelsea, but what Mourinho forgets is the wages they pay, plus only topping up each season means other teams have to spend loads to try and compete. Because they never spent an absolute fortune in Costa hmmm, Fabregas hmmm and Matic last season, (those 3 players) 18 other teams in the EPL, even if they had finished 4th to get a CL spot, wouldn't of been able to purchase in 1 window

It's tricky, cos he is almost right, he had all the potshots at him when Chelsea bought all the players, now others are doing it, people are saying it less and he wants a point made of it. But the fact remains, he is a hypocritical **** so I don't wanna hear it from him.

It'll be interesting if he digs Liverpool out by name though or if it's more a Man United thing.

Infographic is wrong..... Brendan Rodgers has spent £289,050,000 in 3 years, he should be 8th.

..... Edit, no it isn't, it says TOP coaches. My bad

They are effectively buying the title. Chelsea, like Man City, were gobshite clubs with no history. They get an owner willing to spend unlimited money and they can get what ever player they want.

Arsenal winning the title would hurt more as they have put their time in and effectively earn't their place up there. Chelsea or City winning the title means nothing. Hollow victory.

We would do it if we had the money!

Don't kid yourself.
