Yeah I know - ex-gooner blah blah, but the above question is a valid one, no?

Not really.

How does he know what we plan, and who we plan to utilise?

Season has just started.

Amazingly dumb intervention from Keown. How many right backs are you supposed to use per 4 games?

What's his fucking point? "Oh it's strange how they've bought Trippier but never play him...guess they are just wasting money but no actually they are trying to save money on the stadium and er I'm confused...oooh is that fire?"

He was cheap and provides cover in a position where we needed it. He's also potentially going to prove himself as being first choice, but will have to earn it when he gets his chance.

Empty, useless analysis from a man who clearly fancies himself a thinker but never has anything interesting or insightful to say, ever.

I think its quite clear, he thinks that Trippier is a superior player to Walker and is wondering why he isn't playng.

I agree, why isn't he playing?

That was my point I guess - on the 4 games maybe Walker as upped his game enough?

As has already been said 4 games is nothing. We know that Poch generally does not bring new players in right away to the team, Toby is an exception but is a highly experienced player. Poch seems to take a long term view so let's see what happens. I think Trippier could be a top full back but like Walker as well.

A good problem to have in my opinion

I don't want to defend Keown but we have a habit of buying players like women buy shoes and then only wearing them once or twice.

Martin, how about you see how many games he has at the end of the season you plonker.
Same shit they said about lloris in his first season and I think then again about Davies last year.
Wankers.

He's there for the same reason Davies is there, we need 2 decent FB's for either side & if he doesn't understand that it says more about him than our buying policy.
