I assume it means that they would qualify for the team
for the first round of the Inter Galactic Cup
To be played on the moon in 2100.
I have a few tickets at £100 for this week only
(PM me with your bank details or send cash).
Fares are not included obviously.
Although my travel agent mate,
who funnily enough lives at my address
might be able to fix you up.
£250 all in should cover it.
But say £200 to SC members.
I'm a fool to myself I know.
Harry Kane my adopted son is on the team sheet.

I've never taken,
To your brand of haiku posts,
Maybe it's just me.

Judas was and continues to be a ****, but he was undoubtedly a great player for us. I felt particularly spurned by him because I'd been a fan since his youth player days. The brother of a school friend was in the Spurs youth team at the same time as him (and others such as Andy Turner and Darren Caskey), and used to crow about Judas all the time. I remember him scoring against Chelsea as a sub, then seeing him establish himself as our star player.

What a thunder ****.

In terms of who would be the most coveted players to pass through our gates, Judas would be above King for obvious, injury-related reasons. For me, King was a better player, and a real Spurs legend. Chances are, without the injury he would have ended up having his pick of the biggest clubs on the planet. I consider it a huge privilege to have seen King playing live.

Oh f**k off

Lloris, King, Campbell, Modric, Gascoigne, Bale, Klinsmann and Berbatov were all good enough to play for any team in the world. Therefore, world class.

What about the bloke we had, what was his name, Pele? But he was ginger.

My definition would be a player that would get into any first team, ala Barcelona etc.

Modric, Klinsmann, Sheringham, ginola, king, bale, Gazza, Lloris.

Possibly Carrick. I thought we never recovered from losing him, which showed how good he was.

Not sure about VDV when he was with us. Still awesome, but perhaps not quite world class?

What is Whiskey face on, Stam, Schmeichel and Keane on the list too.

As for us..

Hoddle, Lineker, Gazza, ****, King, Klinsman Modric and Bale and now Lloris.

Waddle, Teddy and VdV very close but not quite.

I suppose you have to throw Edgar Davids out there too. He was a massive influence when he joined. Immediately catapulted us to a team that challenged for top 4 right up until the last day of the season. While many point to the loss of Michael Carrick, Davids waning powers also contributed to the slide in Martin Jol's team IMO. That as well as Mido losing the will-power battle with his pie-eating addiction :)

I think Lineker would say he was never world class. Isn't there a quote about him saying he was didn't have much ability, he just scored a lot of goals?

But for me he was an amazing player.

However no one has mentioned Jason Dozzell and I can only assume it's because you have all forgotten how world class he was.

The worlds best shit player.

Seems strange to say it, but he certainly falls into the category of players who played in a different era. He was a striker when the offside rule was something that even the FA needed to pop down the cafe to use their salt + pepper pots to figure it out. He was the ultimate goal hanger, without taking anything away from his foresight and ability to be hanging exactly where he was required to be. When you're talking about players who can read a game he must go in high on the list.
