Whatever happens in the next 45 minutes...

We are on to something, Poch is on to something, this team is one to get behind.

We are a work in progress, there will be ups and downs, but I can definitely say that I am with this team and manager 100% for the ride.

I think we could have - and should have - killed the game in the first half if we were more clinical with our choices around the box. But we've definitely set ourselves up well and they haven't caused us a problem.

But we have to remember that this lot is at home and if they sneak a goal it will affect us mentally and they will get a huge boost and that can swing the balance.

It's a game we have to never let them back into or could be trouble in the circumstances.
It really will be the proverbial 'game of 2 halves' I think. We have the youthful exuberance, they by & large have the experience. That said, I think our defence just might swing it for us..

Not enough credit for the assist by Rose, calamitous defending but he saw the space and weighted the ball lovely.

Brilliant. 1st half if we can keep this up for 15/20 mins I think they we do something stupid and get someone sent off .
Lot of niggley little fouls and pressing their midfield they can't handle it

I wouldn't say they've necessarily been bad though, I think it's just relentless pressure from us isn't giving them a chance to do much.

This fixture last season at WHL was the same, we didn't allow them to play well- we didnt give them a second anywhere on the pitch and dominated every individual battle.

They'll be much more doubt in their minds in the dressing room than they will in ours, we cannot fucking gift them a way back in to this game, its ours to lose now.

Fuck me, that half seemed to last about 12 minutes. In terms of energy and aggression we've been good, rattled a weakened Arsenal team (and I don't just mean their right side, I think Cazorla is a clever little fucker but he doesn't like it up him and you can rattle him out of his a game) who just don't seem at it so far.

Composure wise we have been shockingly awful (they have been just as bad to be fair). We must have had 15-20 situations on the counter with their defenders backing off shitting themselves and blew every single one of them with over excited fuckwittery.

I still think Mason out there would have given us a bit more composure on the ball. Dembele's been good defensively, but has got caught dawdling on the ball twice already in CM and forced to give sloppy passes, you won't get away with that with this lot too often because if they get into the counter situations they do have players who won't get it wrong as often as ours do.

I think after the pressure on Rose La,ela was brought to Right as he defends better than Eriksen.
He defends better from that side as well as he can naturally come in with his left foot as opposed too tackling from the wrong side all the time when he's in front of Walker.

So far, poch's in-game tinkering has been effective.

Need an even more intense 45mins now, no defensive slips, another goal, more physical domination from us please.

If we could blend Lamela's aggresion with Eriksen's skills we'd have one helluva player. Come on Christian this is not 6 a side football......get stuck in lad.
