Think he would have got away with that. It was the pole dancing and midget bowling that they couldn't decide on.
Would that be traditional Polish folk dancing, and would the midgets use full sized balls to bowl with?

Just had an email from the club asking about food and drink within the new stadium. Asking stuff about what and when I would eat and drink and what type. Quite interesting little reveal about what restaurants and food and drink provision they are thinking about within the new stadium. Very promising.

Also they've asked whether I'd like vendors selling food/drink to me in my seat (like the old Peanut Man I suspect!) and if I'd like the ability to order by drink on your phone during the first half to be picked up at half time or after the game.

They also asked what restaurants you'd visit if they were available in the stadium. Quite a good list including carluccios, pret, gaucho, pizza express alongside the usual fast food outlets like maccy ds. So looks like we might be getting some actual restaurants as well.

Also they've asked about whether you'd like vouchers for money off for staying later after the game or arriving early.

I mainly concentrated on trying to persuade them not to pack the food court with chain outlets and registering my interest in having some reasonably healthy stuff to eat.

Let them get some interesting local businesses to set up some one-off "real food" places with proper fresh ingredients. Food that you can't get anywhere else.

The problem is that crap like Costa Coffee and McDonalds outbid everyone else by a huge margin. If they serve KFC and Pizza Hut, I'll just fuck off home after the match.

Unfortunately mcdonalds and kfc are very popular.
But it should be big enough to have a mixture. Maybe some west indian food, noodle bars etc...

The moose and Alan Brazil from talksport would never be out.

I suppose it will be a bit like visiting the movies at some large shopping complex with nandos, wagamama, etc.

No plan for a cineplex in the scheme? Not sure how much money they make. Could be popular not only on matchdays to stagger crowds, including showing spurs classics, but also in the local community? Not that much competition in the area..? Just wondering aloud.

A little ironic to read the nfl anti obesity campaign above only to then see mention of the evil fast food brands as likely contributors to the matchday experience. Perhaps an hour climbing the wall or chasing after visiting fans will burn off the calories.
