So now the Norwegians have embarrassed the rest of Scandinavia it's almost time for the other two to get it on. So where's all the Turnips tonight? Danmark are playing pretty shit at the moment. How are you lot doing? May the best country win (that's DK obviously!) :)

I'm watching this one. Mixed emotions, want Eriksen to do well but can't help but think we'll benefit more if he's not burning himself out at the Euros next summer.

Also Denmark have one of the worst finishers I have ever seen in my life in Braithwaite. I have literally seen this guy miss about 5 open goals from about 3 inches out, one dead centre of goal against PSG which to this day I still don't understand how he managed to defy every law of physics to do it.

And if that isn't bad enough they've got Bentdner as well...

Are there literally no other Danish strikers? Bendtner is fucking clownshoes.
I don't think so. I have no clue why Olsen persists with the bloke. He was pretty good but is hopeless now. Do away goals count in this? I think we may need it. 2 goals in 5 games doesn't bode well.

Pretty sure they do. What about Helenius or Cornelius...?

That's why everyone had high hopes for for Andreas Cornelius, except he turned out to be shit. Helenius too.

Cornelius believed his own hype but couldn't match it. Still time with him though and I hope it hasn't knocked his confidence to much. Helenius I have to say I have never seen him play. Aab are looking good but he is on the bench a fair bit.

Republic of Ireland are the Spurs of int football. Always putting me through the ringer. Given themselves a great chance. Hope they get over the line tonight.

Norway were frankly embarrassing yesterday. Coach took a ridiculous gamble throwing in the kid Ødegaard and another lightweight dribbler/can opener in Elyounoussi to open Hungary up and they were completely bullied out of the game. Had 25 corners over the two legs to Hungary's four and yet in my opinion fully deserved to lose.

Come on Ireland!

Bosnia fans booing during the minutes silence. Can't believe it. I know they have a majority Muslim population but this is ridiculous; tribalism at its worse

TBH i think the booing was due to constant shouting during the silence by individuals (not sure on which side)

I think they were booing the individuals (counter productive i know but the shouting was audible and constant)

lasted about 30 seconds before they decided to mask the shouts/boos with cheers.

Yeah that's what I was referring too at the start. The boos obviously came against the offenders.
