Bumped into Sheringham today at a comedy club. Asked him about Ogilvie quickly. He said the boy can play. Also told me he's been injured for last 10 days which explains why he didn't play

Really hard to find anything from Stevenage fans but there are these tweets that suggest he's doing well at the Lamex

@CarlItAsISeeIt I really rate him. Works very hard , decent on the ball, I know I'm not only one who wants him to stay.

@CarlItAsISeeIt terrific as usual. Really a very exciting prospect if he's this good at 19.

@HENSportAlan
How does @Connor_Ogilvie play that well when he's been injured for last few weeks. How? With my @SpursOfficial hat on, it's very exciting.

What is the rationale for extending little by little as they are doing? Still haven't seen enough of him for the season or squad issues?

Think it's only positive. From the reviews/things I've heard he's highly rated up there, Sheringham's been nothing but complimentary and the fans want him to stay. He is their best LB. That tells me that Stevenage would have looked for an end of season one. So I think we may have only given a month extension maybe to see if any League One or higher teams enquire about him in January, so we can move him to another level should the chance arrive

The 19-year-old defender's previous deal ended at the weekend, but the two clubs have agreed a new loan to keep him at Boro until February 10. Ogilvie has enjoyed his time in Sky Bet League Two and is pleased to be staying with Teddy Sheringham's men. "I was keen to stay so I am really pleased to have got it sorted," the left-back told the club's official website. "I have loved it so far and want to see out the season here. "From the feedback I have been getting, Spurs are pleased too. They want me playing games and progressing which I have been doing so it was best for all parties." - See more at: https://www.clubcall.com/stevenage-...-stevenage-1795825.html?#sthash.CqhyIXEn.dpuf

Had a good assist vs cambridge with a low cross. Looks quick and strong. Maybe a champ loan next season and see if he will be able to step up to the first team squad in 2017/18

I heard he had a Bale-esque assist, did you watch the game? Champ loan would be good
