So nearly a great day for us. But instead it was just a shit day for Leicester.

They're not conceding admittedly but if the front men don't start scoring again it'll go downhill pretty rapidly for them. Hopefully they'll still be barren next week.

A shit day for Leicester is in part a good day for us.

I would of done but they're missing quite a few of their best players....Bolasie, Wickham and Cabaye in particular.

Actually fancy Chelsea tomorrow.
Ah, didn't know that. Still got a good crowd behind them, hopefully they can get something from it.

Don't massively care for title race, we aren't really in the running (IMO) However 3rd and 4th is very attainable. Be nice to put some distance between us and the chasing pack. Think we will be above Leicester after our game with them.

Don't get that at all and hope the mentality of the players is better. We have as good a chance as anyone.

Not keen on the likes of Palace, West Ham, Liverpool, Everton and United gaining points at any stage. There isn't much of a gap between the top 4 and the others for my liking. A must win game tomorrow to keep that chasing pack away and keep them at arms length.

A couple of wins will see us sitting pretty for a bit, but with two difficult teams coming up we could easily slip out of that top 4

Agree. We need to keep the chasing teams more than one win behind us.

Not great results for us today, apart from Leicester. Was hoping for a draw in the West Ham game too as if we lose tomorrow we are only 3 points ahead of them.

We have to be realistic though. City really should win the league with the likes of Aguero, Silva, Toure and De Bruyne etc. It's just wether their heads are right. Even Arsenal have two world class game changers in Ozil and Sanchez and finally have a top goalkeeper too. Both those teams are still vulnerable, but they also have the experience (particularly City).

We just have to keep going and see where it takes us.

In my mind though we are playing for 3rd place and what a fantastic end result that would be compared to how I thought we'd do at the start of the season.

I'm rooting for City in every game, they're the only team capable of stopping Arsenal winning the title.

Fuck that - WE are better than City and have shown it consistently over the course of this season so far. We stuffed them 4-1. We are a million times better than them away from home. We have more steel, more belief more drive and more integrity.

If anyone is to stop Arsenal it has to be us. That's not Onions. That's what the season has proved so far.

I don't think we are better than them at all and I'd suggest that any Spurs fan expecting us to finish above City and Arsenal is setting themselves up for a fall. We've had a very good season so far, better than most of us were expecting, but I think we operating close to the limits of what this team is capable of at this moment in time. We have a tough run of fixtures coming up and the Europa starts up again in Feb. I expect us to drop points over the next couple of months, and I honestly think we're more likely to be in a fight to the death for 3rd and 4th come the end of the season than competing with City and Arsenal for the title.

To me Palace, West Ham, Watford and similar are simply riding the crest of a wave, in previous seasons there's been plenty of sides still up in and around the top 6/7 at this stage that end up 12 points+ off the top 4 come May. This time last season Allardyce had West Ham top 4 for example, then there was Southampton the year before. I'm certain they will fall away this season, and Leicester can probably be added to that group, although I do think that their 'fall away' will still see them finish top 6.

United will stick with it and if Liverpool can get and keep Henderson and Sturridge fit and bring two quality players in who hit the ground running, they'll be a threat ( lots of if's there ) too.

Anyway, why look back? That's really negative, we should be looking at who is above use and gunning for them. Any result tomorrow, including defeat, won't mean anything in the grand scheme of things. It's still far too early.

League table doesn't actually show that and we are half way through

Anyone thinking City have it within them to stop Arsenal's march to the title is setting themselves up for a WAY bigger fall.

We don't have their talent or money but on the evidence of the season so far if we want someone to stop Arsenal then it HAS to be us because no one else looks likely.

I'm not being overly optimistic or anything. I agree with everything you say - but let's face facts, City are having a shite season which won't suddenly turn golden. Take responsibility - if we want Arsenal to be stopped then it's down to us. End of.

Actually Goals for, Goals against and losses for does show that. So far.

And, but for Watford fluffing their lines tonight we would be above City.

Fuck's sake - what does it take for some people to understand the point? No one will stop Arsenal but for us. Can we do it? Almost certainly not. But if WE don't no one else will.

I like your optimism, but you talk like this is a fact, where it's merely your opinion backed up by the fact we've lost fewer than them and have a better defence so far. Then completely ignoring the other facts that even if we win tomorrow they will have still won 2 more games than us. In their shite season as you say. With Aguero and Silva missing a part of it so far.

5th March, our place.

Woolwich will be looking over their shoulders till then. That's what they do.

The press are talking them up. Nice. Don't care for Gooner love any more.

If we cant to beat an Everton side that leak goals and roll over at home then we don't deserve top 4 or a shot at the title. We should be looking at tomorrow as a certain win.
