No it isn't that is simply untrue. Contract length affects transfer value regardless of hoiw many clubs want a player. They do not have a bidding war they decide on their own valuation and stick to that.

Fcuk me I know Levys tight but £25 in installments is taking it a step to far, no wonder Peace said feck off

Really worrying that we seem to be putting all our eggs in one basket again. Worked out with losing Schneiderlin because I dont think Poch still would have moved Dier to DM had we gotten him. Unfortunately, we dont have someone who could be moved to striker and it is probably too soon for our closest youth striker, Sheyon Harrison.

Forget Harrison and Loft. They are too young and physically immature at the moment. Both of them are promising but at least 2 years off a PL place. Harry was always a big lad and had that advantage of being physically ready.

With Real apparently now sniffing around, at least to the press, we need to think about who our Kane back up or replacement is going to be. Bring someone in and acclimatize them to the role so if there is a succession required we have some one ready made up top, who can replace Kane. However with the dearth of modern all round CF's we are not going to see the likes of him for a while.

I hope Levy understands that.

If Levy dares to sell Kane, to Madrid no less he'd lose all the support he still has. He would be booed out of the stadium if he does that. I'd think he wouldnt be so stupid as too do that.

I have just confirmed that Berahino wouldn't be free, as he would have to turn 24 before 30th June 2017 (Berahino turns 24 on 04/08/2017). Exact wording:

"There shall be no right to compensation or transfer fee by the previous Club of a player who has attained the age of 24 years on or before 30th June and whose contract at he club has expired."

There seem to be a lot of criteria involved to establish just how much compensation is to be paid. If he has hardly played in the previous 2 years it will be next to nothing, and as things stand he is not playing matches. He won't be free, but at the same time they won't get close to Danny Ings money either

No disrespect to BEN, but I find it incredibly difficult to believe that Poch has only just started to have concerns about any possible negative influence that Berahino could bring to the table.

Bloody hell, there's been none stop arguing on here since the summer, because the likes of @yankspurs & a few others have been saying exactly that.

I'd imagine Poch, the guy who apparently looks deeply into a players mentality before deciding if he wants him, doesn't need 6 months of seeing WBA & Berahino at war, before deciding he may be a negative influence in the changing room.
