Just saw this on RAWK and had to share. Can't tell if joking or just the typical Liverpool arrogance rearing it's ugly head again...

Argh that Delle Alli miss (non-signing)......

It makes me want to die

You know, Klopp could get on the blower and tell him to run down his contract, and tell the club he won't sign a new one, we could pick him up on the cheap 2019/20'ish.

Obviously by then hopefully we'll be successive title winners and CL contenders, and Alli will desperately want to follow Gerrards footsteps....

If we play our cards right we may still get his prime.

It is arrogance but to them anythings possible remember Robbie Keane 'boyhood club' and all that even though we opened our house doors (at the time Keane was gypsy traveller from club to club) and welcomed Keane as part of the family. Keane got so much love from Spurs then went to he's boyhood.

So Liverpool supporters thinking it's possible have previous

To be fair at that point Liverpool had finished above us consistently for 10-30 years depending on how you want to look at it, and were a top 4 regular compared to it being a dream for us. Also he cost them 20m. Now we look pretty certain to finish above them for a 6th year out of 7, they are unlikely to be anywhere near the top 4, and one of our players is going to run his contract down to force a move to them?

Such an annoying bunch of fecks
I really do dislike them more than the goonies.

Fella at my local petrol station every year with out fail will single me out and give it large about the best club best fans best stadium best city so we started a £20.00 bet who will finish higher
After doubling up twice he quit while he was 60.00 down
He never paid I offered him to double it again he's answer was fuck off poxy yids shit team they finished second that year I find him and remind him publicly every time how he welched on a bet 3 times and how he could have won it back
When I pull up now he goes out the back and avoids me it's so much better than the cash I'd have paid 60.00 just to not speak football with him. :D

I'd have paid you the £60 and kept quiet about how bad your maths is.

Yes I knew he really wasn't doubling up but if he couldn't /wouldn't pay 40.00 what chance 80.00 ?
I could have explained it but could not be arsed as I didn't realise the pedant inspector would catch me :dead:

The thing about Spurs this year is they have had incredible stability. For the most part, their best XI have played together regularly. Poch hasnt had to make a ton of lineup changes due to player availability.

On the other hand, we have changed managers, had the most injuries of any team in the league and for the third season in a row have tried to bed in a number of new players.

If we could go three months with our best XI playing together regularly I think we would easily move back into the top 4.

Spurs will win what they always win .... F**K ALL.

They only have one striker, if he gets injured - probabably under uncle Roys watch on England duty - they are stumped.

Leicester City have spent more days on top of the Premier League this season than Spurs have since the Premier League began.

Considering the injuries Arsenal City and Liverpool have had this season, they've been very lucky at Spurs.

Eriksen would not be an automatic in our side above Coutinho in that left attacking role. As good as Delle Alli is at present (the goals are highlights), i'd still want Firmino in the side too.

Spurs are going very well though and fair play to them. Pochettino is the man Man Utd should be looking at. Top coach.

He's actually started every league game this season Vertoghnen. With EL starting again this will be a problem for them, this is their best chance ever of winning the league, they should spend big on a top defender in this window, if they have ambitions of winning the league. I think Levy will be delighted with 4th and won't spend.

Medial ligament injuries range from 2 weeks to 4 months. I guess it depends on how bad it is.

£12m fee agreed for Andros Townsend, who's played what, 3 games for them this season in all competitions? Unbelieveable stuff.

Without meaning to sound like a c*nt, I hope it's 4 months. Him and Alderweirld have been the best CB partnership in the league this season by a long way.

When we've won 3 league games on the run and stop looking like Fred Karno's circus at the back, i'll start worrying about injuries to Spurs players who are a pretty clean team, good to watch and giving young English lads a go in the side.

Right now, i'm perfectly happy to see Spurs and Leicester compete for the title and the top 4 because we sure as hell are not.

We need to worry about ourselves and our form before we even start to think about any other side in the League. As it stands, all Vertoghnen getting injured or Spurs dropping points does - is make the 5th place side (Man Utd) have more of an opportunity of relative success and they are more dangerous long term.

I don't think we can do 'what ifs' this season. Yep if we'd beaten Leicester we'd be top and we fucked up against Newcastle but every top club has fucked up lots this season. So for every 'we should've beaten Newcastle' there's a lot more City & Arsenal etc fans saying 'we should've beaten west ham at home'.

I was about to go and firebomb the whole of Liverpool until that last comment and now I'm like 'aww, they ain't so bad'. I'm so easily swayed.
