I don't agree Pulis doesn't let creative player thrive at all. He does but in his own way. He wants his players to be good with out the ball & organised and maintain team shape. People here forget his stint at Crystal Palace. How were Palace playing after Holoway left ? Under Pulis, they started playing some decent counter attacking football. At one point, won 5 PL games in a row. Bolasie,Puncheon who was below average, also became decent under him.

He is old fashioned manager but dont think he is against creativity.

I agree. I think he has a good chance at replacing Morrison or Mr. Clean

Will be an extremely disappointing move by us as not only is the lad a tenacious creative influence who could provide genuine competition to Eriksen, he will also be going to a Pulis rugby team. If we have to send him on loan at least send him to someone who actually plays football

He must have been agitating, he needs games to get over his injury.

At this point he is in no position to get past players like Eriksen, Lamela, Son, Chadli, Onmah need I go on?

This must be a sweetner IMO.

I agree with the last part, about WBA being a rugby team....but Pritchard will need regular playing time, something which will be hard now at Spurs. Even though he may be injury free he's not played since July last year. In other words, he very match unfit.

Would rather he go to a top Championship that play a bit of football instead of a sit back and hope nothing bad happens PL side.

Going to a team that sits deep and fires long balls is not only ill suited to his game, but it also teaches him nothing that will benefit him in the future for Poch.

Am I the only one who thinks this is a made up story to get people believing the Berahino deal is back on, click bait.
Maybe I am just an old cynic.

Don't agree, has nothing to prove in the championship. He needs games in the PL, or stay at spurs and get his fitness back.

Pulis sides are ugly, but he likes his wide men. Style wise its far from ideal, but of course he could benefit from it, just through the experience of playing in the division and the experience of different ways of playing. I would really like him to stay till the end of the season here, but we shall see.

Wouldn't surprise me.

Does it surprise anyone else that a company can own a major sporting news source and a betting company? Cannot see how that could lead to an issue at all...

If Pritchard, being the type of player that he is, can force himself into a Pulis team, then we know we really have a gem in our hands.

WBA is a great move for him

He has nothing to learn in Championship. Already he was in Championship team of the year & carried a team to playoffs
Burnley may have been good but again, not sure what he could learn there.

Playing in PL is far better proposition. Its a steeper learning curve. WBA may not be playing good football. But what if he gets the chance to start & be their chief creator in a XI that is devoid of creativity. Thats a challenge isnt it ?

We say WBA play long ball, but reality is we play more long balls (or atleast in top2) than most PL teams.
Sessognon starts for WBA who is a decent player. IMO, Pritchard should target his spot in XI.
I agree with most of that. Also particularly important is sessognon is a similar type of player to pritchard, only pritchard has better delivery, something Pulis loves.

But its bullshit to say we play more long balls that West Brom. We are 10th in the league for long balls played, and play more passes than most teams. So long balls make up only 13 percent of our total passes. West Brom are joint second in the league for long passes and 20 percent of all their passes go long.

The complete table by long passes bellow

1Watford

82
2Manchester United

72
3Crystal Palace

72
4West Bromwich Albion

72
5Leicester

71
6Everton

70
7Southampton

70
8Norwich

70
9West Ham

70
10Tottenham

69
11Aston Villa

68
12Newcastle United

68
13Sunderland

68
14Liverpool

64
15Swansea

64
16Stoke

64
17Chelsea

63
18Bournemouth

62
19Manchester City

55
20Arsenal

49

And a few selected percentages bellow, my computer is acting a bit weird so cant compile all of them here but they are freely available on whoscored.com

Watford 20%
WBA 20%
Palace 18
Man Utd 13%
Tottenham 13%
