Sky don't own skybet mate.
I didn't know anything about skybet but a couple of people have posted this so I checked and it appears they do or at least they have the same parent ownership ultimately.
Sky betting and gaming is 80% CVC and 20% 20th Century fox or, in other words, the Murdoch family.

Why would we send him to west brom. It makes no sense at all. They play the complete opposite of the kind of football he should be involved in.

Because the alternative is to send him to the Championship where he's already played and we know hes good enough for it.

Maybe it's best he does get experience at the higher level, even if it is WBA. Im sure Alex has a say in where he is going and if it means we get a fitter player next season (and maybe a berahino sweetener) I like most of you would rather he plays for us now but clearly that won't happen unfortunately.

I'd rather keep him than loan him to WBA.

You mean keep him and then he hardly gets any games at all. He needs to play as many games as possible between now and the end of the season. He isn't going to get more than a handful of games at best for Spurs this season.

He ain't going, trust me, we all know what the loan fee is and their chairman has said he is not for sale.
I just don't believe a word of all this.

Good move for him for a few months I reckon.

We're not at a stage of the season where we have many games that aren't important, meaning it's a risky time to try new players, particularly someone who has recently come back from a lengthy injury.

Hopefully at West Brom he'll get some decent playing time in the Premiership for the first time in his career, and come next season he'll be ready to go and challenge our more established players.

Sky now says it's done. Interesting choice of club. Obviously the two egg heads are talking a little bit.

I think it's a good move for Pritch. This should have been his breakthrough season but injury prevented that. He can get back to match fitness with WBA and start again next season.

Yeah decent move. West Brom don't exactly play attractive football but nor did Bolton when Wilshere went there but it gave him good experience and a bit of fight too. Also gave him 19 career ending injuries but hey ho, you can't have everything.

I agree with most of that. Also particularly important is sessognon is a similar type of player to pritchard, only pritchard has better delivery, something Pulis loves.

But its bullshit to say we play more long balls that West Brom. We are 10th in the league for long balls played, and play more passes than most teams. So long balls make up only 13 percent of our total passes. West Brom are joint second in the league for long passes and 20 percent of all their passes go long.

The complete table by long passes bellow

1Watford

82
2Manchester United

72
3Crystal Palace

72
4West Bromwich Albion

72
5Leicester

71
6Everton

70
7Southampton

70
8Norwich

70
9West Ham

70
10Tottenham

69
11Aston Villa

68
12Newcastle United

68
13Sunderland

68
14Liverpool

64
15Swansea

64
16Stoke

64
17Chelsea

63
18Bournemouth

62
19Manchester City

55
20Arsenal

49

And a few selected percentages bellow, my computer is acting a bit weird so cant compile all of them here but they are freely available on whoscored.com

Watford 20%
WBA 20%
Palace 18
Man Utd 13%
Tottenham 13%

According to this stat - Everton are 6th highest in long balls. Really ? Because from 8 to 10 Everton games I have seen this season, they never play long.

Didn't they score on us from a long ball?

Will be interested in how this turns out. Pulis seems to like to play as many central defenders and central midfielders as he can. Calum McManaman, someone I like the look of, barely gets a game for WBA. Gnabry from Arsenal went there on loan too and never played. McLean is the only wide player who regularly gets a look in. Sessegnon plays a lot less than he used too as well

Yeah I hadn't really factored in the Pulis effect and how that might not be best suited to Pritchard's game.

But Pulis presumably wants him for a reason, so hopefully he'll use him.

The obvious reason is that Pritchard's delivery from set pieces is first class.
