Not that I consider Spurs title contenders, but come on Watford and QSF, go on

Proper Herberts this lot, would actually love them to fuck it up now.

"Not that I consider Spurs title contenders" - I guess these words carry some real weight, coming from a seasoned fan used to a steady shower of success.

They're basically little more than one striker that has taken the vast majority of his career to finally make it, and a manager who knows how to make the whole a lot better than the sum of its largely mediocre cast-off parts...mostly through a successful form of anti-football.

Not that the latter point matters anyway. I just don't like them, and I wouldn't like them even if they were playing the most beautiful football ever invented. I suspect most teams have fallen short against them because they saw Leicester as little more than a comical anomaly that weren't worth researching or taking seriously. Well that's all changed in the last couple of weeks, so let's see how they cope when teams specifically prepare for their one tactic for the rest of the season.

There still something to be said for a team that plays on the front foot than rather on the back foot, I think it just makes for much better football and you have to respect those teams that setup to play and win games. And a lot has to be said for teams that have no European football to play. The Liverpool second place season, no European football, great league run. It is much easier to maintain better league form.

Not taking anything away from Leicester they have done very well, but not playing in Europe is a great bonus for them so they can just concentrate on the league.

We are second and still playing in two cups and we setup to play to win games. IMO we are doing very well ATM with our league placing
We've done better since the Europa stopped in November....

I really dislike the chat from Leicester fans this season and have to say the man city fans are much more likeable, for that reason I'd much rather city won it than Leicester. I know we've flattered to deceive for many years, but we've been consistently challenging for the 4th/5th spot in the league over a period when Leicester have done nothing even vaguely exciting.

To have them talk about our club with such a lack of respect or even an acknowledgment of our recent superior achievement (at least in league placing), leaves a bitter taste. They've shown no grace and I for one hope that comes to bite them in the backside over the next 13 games.
I know I literally post about this everywhere, but I couldn't feel stronger about this! They can't win it! Surely? Just know that every time Leicester pick up any points it physically hurts me now!!

I'm very worried about what happens when we go back to EL at the end of the month. If we are still within touching distance of the title id rather bin off the EL. Not to belittle it as it would be great to go far but it's another 8/10 games before the final. I'd be happy playing just the FA Cup and league.

Nothing but admiration for what Vardy has achieved and similarly the management of Ranieri. To take the team from scraping across the line last year to leading the league for as long as they have is nothing short of remarkable. They are far from a one man team and have Mahrez, Okozaki (Sp), Drinkwater, Kante and Schmeichel have had incredible seasons and formed a strong unit that we have struggled to beat.

What their fans are saying is a whole other thing and unfortunately it's the most out there posts that get brought across here. Good luck to them, if we can't make it I hope they get across the line. Generally watching MOTD every week where the pundits were routinely saying it was Arses year to seeing them implode is brilliant.

Thats also attributed to injured players (son, Chadli) coming back and chipping in with some important performances.

With a fit squad we can manage 2 fronts better than we probably have ever been able to.

This is utter bullshit, the play counter attacking football and have been as exciting as anyone, the are nothing like Stoke under Pulis at all.

I must have been watching a different team when they played us then? Because all I witnessed was their keeper tapping the post from about 7 mins into the game every single time, them falling over at every single opportunity, parking the bus and then hoofing it up top trying to get us on the break.

Same time wasting tactics, same "let's draw a foul at every opportunity" tactics and the same "Let's lump it to racist Vardy" tactics.

They are shit, I have no idea why people are obsessed with seeing them win it, especially when they are our main rivals for it, them being the underdog makes literally no difference to my opinion of them.

They play negative football and teams have not taken them serious this season that is why they are where they are.

And frankly, just being completely honest here, irrespective of if they play "Attractive" or "Negative" football I still wouldn't be blowing smoke up the arse of a club supported by buffoons who now seem to think they are "World class" and have done nothing but insult teams around them.

Why would I sit here and say "You know what? I hope Leicester do it" when I am a spurs supporter and we are 5 points behind them?

Is it because they are the underdogs? Who have come up against all odds and beat the big money teams? Why should that make any difference?

In an alternate universe and if Arsenal were Leicester with the same amount of money, same amount of funding, same ground and same supporters would you be saying "I hope Arsenal win it if we can't because I love to see the underdog win it" I don't think anybody here would.

The Leicester love in is out of control honestly, don't think for one second their supporters would be saying the same about our club.

I cannot respect a football club that plays anti-football, which makes English football look bad, who has a racist as a figure head and who's supporters think they are the best in the world now because of one season.

If other people choose to do so then so be it but my focus is spurs and for OUR sake I hope they fuck it up and it ends in disaster, nothing about Leicester winning the league would be good for English football it would just prove how utterly atrocious this league is in terms of quality and only prove further how far we are behind European teams in terms of quality.

And what?
If they did that to survive it'd be one thing.
But they've just dismantled the richest club in the country AWAY to remain top and they've earned it.

I doubt a single Leicester fan in the world would trade that for being 15th but passing it around a bit.
Likewise I doubt united fans would bat an eye lid if they could swap eleventy million percent possession for being runaway league leaders.

Just speaking for myself here but I would be embarrassed to win the league playing football like that.

Oh I certainly have respect for what Ranieri has done. I've always liked him anyway. In many ways this is the archetypal 'if life gives you lemons, make lemonade' story. If they win it, they fully deserve to.

I just hope they fail miserably and get relegated next season.

On the plus side rather them than Chavski, Arse, UTD, CITY or Liverlol.

Did you see the move that should've finished in a penalty midweek? It's a myth that they don't play football. Some of the goals they've scored this year have been from great football.

I don't really care if Oil Money 'win' it. Personally I don't register any of their trophies as wins...just meaningless purchases.

When a club spends as much money as they have, not winning every single trophy they are in the running for is embarrassing and nothing else.
