Well no not really, only Dembele and alli average more tackles and interceptions per match
You need to look at per minute. Per match will be skewed with Son only being on the pitch for 15 minutes with him being subbed on so much. Can't exactly put up a bunch of tackles and interceptions that way.

Lamela is still higher per minute, but it's very close.

Make a fucking change damn't!

*posts from an hour and a half from now*
In the last 3 matches Poch's first sub came at 61:07, 45, and 56:07.

Not very good with the whole noticing what's going on eh?

"As usual." As you would say. ;)

Wide areas key today.

Clichy not quite as good as Kolorov going forward, hope Son can pen him back a bit so Sterling is isolated.

Zabaleta is harder to deal with though, and ERiksen will be wandering.

Poch has picked our brain fart prone pairing of fbs, but their errors are becoming fewer and fewer, and with people like aguero around today aint the day for a relapse.

Most likely game decided by a mistake, including by the ref, or by a screamer. Who by though?

Coys!

Happy with they selection. I think with the two Yorkshiremen at fullback and Son ahead of Lamela he's basically gone with as much pace as possible against a side who are vulnerable to it. The rest of the side effectively picks itself based on current form.

The FB's and AM3 will always be rotated, we just have to accept that Poch has trust in anyone that makes the first team. I just hope everyone turns up today; need Kane and Eriksen to replicate their recent form and then we're in with a good chance.

would have been very happy with a draw before the goons got that late winner - need to win this

Really, its not a pressure game. No one expected us to be challenging for the league- we weren't really expected to get CL. Even if we lose we're still in a great position to get top 4, which is all any of us hoped for at the start of the season. Everything else is a bonus.

At the start of the season, yes - but expectations change and right now we have a real possibility to challenge for the title - tell the players "its not a pressure game" At this moment and probably from here on in, the pressure will be intense for every game.
