I love the fact we beat City with a dodgy decision and they're all crying over it. It can begin to make up for Balotelli stamping on Parker's head, not getting a card and then scoring the winner at the Etihad that time under Redknapp. The dodgy decision in the earlier game at WHL can make up for the Rose sending off two years ago :)

Wasn't even a dodgy decision. The dodgiest of the game was that Toure was still on the pitch beyond the 25th minute.

I thought the Pen was harsh, but it was just on the right side of justice for me. Did he put his arm out? Yes. If it hadn't hit his arm would it have gone past him? Yes.

In the immortal words of Andy Townsend. "I've seen them given Clive"

Chelski's fans response

Arsenal won Liverpool won if Spurs win I'm gonna kick the cat right up the Arse. Wonder how his cat is?
Here we go, Clattenburg!
That's a ridiculous penalty decision, clattenburg is a joke.
How much more does Clattenburg have to do in broad daylight before he's taken to task?
This weekend of football was looking great at 7.30pm last night.....now look at it. Piss off.

City goal
Wasn't he once banned for a season or so? Oof, pick that out
Come on City, sh*t day of football.
Without doubt our game has been this weekend's highlight. :ROFLMAO:

City's defence is embarrassing.
Kompany was terrible with his positioning then.
Oh seriously City another home loss? Not that I want them to win the league but sorry Spud I cannot see your boys stopping Arsenal from winning it. Terrible day of football.
Just have to get used to the idea of Arsenal winning the league...but that is a real hard pill to swallow....
Congratulations Spud.
I would mention not filling their ground without giving away tickets for a fiver but to be fair, that just means they haven't attracted large numbers of glory hunters and tourist fans. Not sure the Arabs will like that situation though.
Black, kettle and pot come to mind
Great goalkeeping from Lloris. Deserved win for Spurs, City are incredibly sh*te at the back.
Indeed enjoy it spud, if you guys do pick up the title I will be happy for you, though I am sure we would see a fair few spurs trolls on here if you did lol
Anyone but Arsenal!
Or Cheslea tbf :D
Spurs are doing brilliantly and for all the stuff about Leicester being a fairytale, here you have a team playing good football with a young English core. Walker, Rose, Dier, Ali and Kane all started today and they've got a few others like Mason involved too. It's such a shame that it's Spurs though. Still I'd take them winning it over Arsenal.

Suprisingly complimentary considering it's from chavski fans. Expected much less from those knuckle draggers.

Just had a look on The Shed End, hoping to find a lot of bitter Chelsea comments, but surprisingly it's all pretty positive.

Seems like the consensus there is 'anyone but Arsenal'.

Some more City reactions...Tin foil hats at the ready...

Just got back from the match and I'm still seething with rage at Clattenbent and his extremely dodgy assistants.
Seems like everyones forgotten that throw in we should have had, the one that started their scoring attack. And that lumbering buffoon Yaya should have been off. Swings and roundabouts ya oil doped shits.

Urrrrgh Spurs are so fucking Vanilla, no magic at all. Just hard working and methodical. Dull, dull, dull. Be bad for everyone if they win it

Words actually fail me. This thread gets more ridiculous as the evening progresses. Would they rather a Russian criminal that has committed sins against his own people ? Perhaps a Middle Eastern oil baron who has pumped 600m+ in ? Maybe a club that relied on dodgy refereeing for over a decade and has gone on to spunk bucketfuls of cash on overpaid players who equate to the grand sum of a collection of unbalanced underperforming idiots ?

No wait... it would be awful for the league if a collection of players played as a team and followed their coaches instructions to a tee without a word of complaint and won the league against the steepest of odds

There should be a mass drownage by buckets tonight and the country would be better off.

Give. Me. Strength.

How can anyone say that Eriksen goal wasn't magical. That first touch alone had me on the vinegar strokes.

Which season was it they were losing 3-1 at home to Norwich and in the last five minutes they were given a penalty (that wasn't) from a corner that should have been a goal kick then scored an offside goal to equalise?

You're bang on. I knew there was a game involving Norwich but I couldn't remember when it was.

Maybe the 10/11 season?

I'm fairly sure that quote came from rawk. The worst thing about it is that we are anything but. We just happen to work hard and play in an organised way. For me, we are the best team in the league and we play good football. Liverpool are utter shit. There was even a fan on there today who still reckons that they can make the top 4. Another who said that they would be top if they had de gea in goal and another bin dipper who reckoned that if Klopp had taken over last season they would be champions elect.

They are a joke who are simply jealous of the fact that we are playing good football and have finished above 5 of the last 6 seasons!

Saints fans bemoaning the weekends results as it affects their top 4 ambitions.

Only a month and a bit ago they had a thread about potential relegation.

They might look like the troll that lives under a bridge and eats goats but I suddenly like Stoke fans...

Who you want to win the title:

Tottenham. It will really fuck all the Arsenal fans off which will amuse me.....

Spurs, just so I can look forward to Arsenal fans self harming.

Spurs seem to have the squad and the belief. Either them or Leics would be nice to see as it would certainly be a bit different

Spurs actually look like potential champs at times.

Spurs for me

Would not have put Arsenal in the choices, as any true Stoke fan would rather cut their own throat with a rusty knife than have them win it,wouldn't they?

Arsenal to finish fourth and then Chelsea go and win the Champions League ... I would absolutely piss myself laughing if that happened!

Spurs. All day long, for a lot of reasons

Hopefully Spurs, just out of pure spite towards those wankers at The Emirates.

Spurs. They play lovely football and have shown respect to each of the four competitions they have been involved in.

Nice to see we aren't the only ones who hate Arsenal.
