Wow. Had no idea this existed. I'm in Hamilton Ontario (about an hour outside of Toronto).

I really only know of one other Spurs fan and he was just a classmate. Two of my friends support the Arse and one's a Liverpool fan. Then my grandfather is a Man U fan...not much for company that lot is. :cautious:

I am 3 hours NW of Toronto. Paid the $20 membership a couple of seasons ago, but didn't bother again as I can't participate in anything and too much hassle to go to the big smoke and get to the pub eatly in the morning. Satellite TV or live streaming is my saviour!

Hey Sweech,

I've just moved to Hamilton from the UK. Nice to see there are some forum members close by! I'm riding a wave right now as we haven't lost, in fact we've won all games since I moved. Hoping that's a good omen.

Good to hear! What brings you to Hamilton from the UK?

Hey Wellspurs,

I can give you 2 places that will definitely be open. Both are in the downtown core. Not sure where you are in the city but they are both very close to the Line 1/Yellow subway/tube line. Just get off at Union Station for both of them. Also lots of parking available if you're driving.

1) Scotland Yard. http://scotlandyardpub.ca/

This is the official pub of Spurs Canada and if you want to watch the match with fellow yids, this is the spot for you.

2) Real Sports Bar & Grill. http://realsports.ca/BarAndGrill/toronto/

More of a generic sports bar but they will definitely have the game on one of their many, many, MANY TV's (I think there are 200 of them or something like that). Not cozy and comfy like Scotland Yard but will definitely be showing the game.

Just one more thing. We are in the Eastern timezone so the 3pm games start at 10am here. Our liquor laws state taps can't open earlier than 11am. Because of that there are many pubs that won't open until 11am but these 2 pubs above will definitely be open at 10am for the start of the game.

Just grab a coffee and some breakfast. By the time the second half kicks off, the taps will be flowing and you'll have a pint in front of you.

Your hotel is in a nice area. Lots to do on Danforth Ave and very close to the Yonge & Bloor intersection for more nightlife/shops.

You could walk north a block and catch Line 2/Green line west bound and then transfer down to Union on Line 1/Yellow at the first stop.

Or, it's probably too far to comfortably walk (longer than Seven Sisters is to WHL) but you could take a cab straight down Sherbourne to the Esplanade and hang a quick right on the Esplanade and Scotland Yard is about 100 yards down on the right. Very easy to get to from your location and probably only $10 bucks each way.

EDIT: Looks like Real Sports has changed their starting time to 11:00am so would suggest Scotland Yard for your trip. Enjoy Toronto.

It requires a paid membership of $20 per season
@zx81 Howcan you rate it disagree? They charge for membership as mentioned by other members too. Unless the amount has changed since I posted it. Are you just marking posts negatively for no reason?

I love living in Ajax. It is such a change from where I lived in London. Totally different lifestyle here
