There is NO way Lukaku is coming to Spurs to be Kane's understudy. NO WAY! And there is no way Poch would, all of a sudden, convert to a 4-4-2 or 3-5-2 formation after Spurs most successful EPL season in decades.
Besides, Lukaku cost £28M when Everton bought him 2 years ago and his price now must be close to £40M+. Spurs are not ready to spend that on just 1 player this summer

Surprised how open he's been about wanting to move to a champions league club, would be fuming if that were one of our players. Smart money would be on Arsenal signing him. But wouldn't be surprised if Madrid came in with a bid. Can see him costing £60m going by how much they resisted for Stones last summer.

Please no barkley, has flashes of class and is clearly a talented INDIVUDUAL but not for spurs.
Lukkaku and kane would be unstoppable, cant see us ever getting beaten with tjose 2! Rest 1 bring the other on and lool stronger!

There is always room for a payer like lakaku. Not saying we would get him but there is room. We only have Kane and lakaku has played at RWF at Everton in his first season. I remember an interveiw it was about lambert when at Southampton and it was said that on occasion tactically pochettinho played 3 strikers in a 433, but actual strikers not wing forwards. We have not seen anything else from poch tactically because Harry is the only '1' who can play the '1'. How could we even play 442. When there is only 1.

I politely disagree. Barkley has been amazing all season and is the perfect long term partner for alli and dier in midfield. Lukaku is good but nowhere close to Kane in overall quality especially for the price he would command.

Lol, back up to Kane?!

Lukaku is world class and will not play second fiddle to Kane. If we got Lukaku we'd be even more amazing up top.

I think he's a decent player but world class? Think that and the word legend get overused but that's for another thread.

It's worth considering that Kane risks being burned out by his early thirties if he continues to play the lone striker role week in/week out.

He will need to be rested more than he currently is and we'll need a very good striker to rotate him with.

I love how another teams player basically matches Kane's goal scoring record and is valued at £40 million yet Kane would cost £100 million?

Lukaku is probably worth £60m, but Kane is worth more because he's now the poster boy for English football.
