Has anyone mentioned the Fabregas/Lamela 'stamp' which was Fabregas slapping Lamela's shin and then pretending he'd been stamped on?

Congratulations to Leicester. They've fully deserved it.

Still though it's been an exceptional season for us, we definitely haven't bottled this, we have a young energetic team that I fully believe can do better next season. I'm gutted today but still immensely proud of this team.

Firstly, congrats to Leicester.
Secondly, well done Spurs. Brilliant season. Not over yet.
Thirdly, gutted we couldn't beat Chelsea but they were up for it and we should have been more clinical.

[And finally,

Bet they still smash Swansea and get a point from Man Utd.

We should get credit for finishing second and running Leicester so close with the youngest team in the league.

Time to close the thread. Can't help but feel we'll never get this close again. To be fair I've supported this club since the early 90s and never expected us to get close to it. The way this season went was crazy and the chances of two teams that have never won the EPL winning it two seasons in a row are beyond slim. The big boys will be back next year but would like to think we can hang around the top 4 for a few seasons now. Well done Spurs, you put a big shift in this season. Let's keep hold of this squad and see what happens.

...you guys saw what went down tonight. If you think Chelsea were not going to let L'ster waltz past them to win the title on the last day, if it came down to that, you are off your heads.

Tonight confirmed - to me, anyway - it was already sewn up for L'ster, one way or the other.

Put it behind you.

Look to all the positives we've achieved this season and focus on how awesome we're becoming. :)

We were never close enough because of the poor start to the season.

We need to channel this disappointment into the start of next season and challenge again.

Great season for progress time to kick on

It's gutting. I said this at the time when the transfer window shut when I felt we had left our dealings too late again and that had cost us points. If we lose out to Arsenal this season I am going to be pissed.

Yup I've said all along. Chelsea were so determined today that you just know they would've bent over and let leicester beat them on the last day.

Holy shit that was emotional. Fantastic journey with a brilliant future. There may have been a few distasteful moments; but that fight we saw, the pain they endured, will see them champions in the future. Mark my words.

So proud of this team. In a way, I'm embarrassed with how the players reacted against Chelsea, but then I'm also proud that they stood up for themselves in what felt like a battle between all that is good and all that is evil.
