Football often gets a bad rep in the media and a lot of the time it's justified. I thought it would be a good idea to have a thread dedicated to some of the heart warming things that happen in the game.

This idea came from watching the video below. NAC Breda's Goalkeeper Jelle ten Rouwelaar was playing his first match since his mother passed away at the age of 61. In the 61st the NAC and opposition fans joined together to sing "You'll Never Walk Alone" to show their support for the goalkeeper.

He must have been a bit shaken up, but to make his debut at 61 is really impressive.

you wont win nuffink with kidz.

Seriously, a quality gesture by the fans. Perhaps after Greavesies stroke we might have had a minutes applause ourslves, on 8 or 9, whatever shirt he wore even im too young to remember.

should look to the trust to promote this kind of message just as some mark ledley on 26.

Barcelona's U12 console a Japanese U12 team after beating them 1-0

Pity it'll be coached out of them.

The looks on some of these kids faces are priceless.

And while I'm here...I always thought David Luiz was a bit of an arse, but I'm beginning to change my mind. Although I reckon the wee fella he's with is a better footballer! (edit: that might sound bad, but check out the kid's keepy-up skills.)

That first video was excellent, but where was the Gareth Bale clip?

I dunno mate, I didn't make the video and so have no idea why there's a pic but no clip. I think that might be his daughter though.

A friend of mine, his 10-year old stepson unfortunately has cancer and the Make-A-Wish foundation are organising for him and his family to go to the Nou Camp to watch el classico, he will walk out onto the pitch with Messi and then after the game he'll get to meet Ronaldo, Neymar, Suarez, Bale and Messi. However they said meeting Messi is 50:50 as he doesn't like to do things like that. Twat.
