Cracking news to start the day! Big signing like that and what happened to Liverpool last night should put this into perspective.

Exciting news about the Bat-man.

I'm still intrigued as to how we deal with two proper strikers but it would be a nice problem to have.

He does look capable of playing in the same team as Harry either from the left (Welbeck for England style) or with Harry dropping a bit deeper. Not always been convinced with the latter but that was usually because a no confidence Soldado was taking point.

I like the Sturridge comparison from the Batshauyi thread, hopefully we can fit him in alongside Kane like he slotted in with Suarez...

*if he signs

What an upgrade Batshuayi signing will be. Not just the squad, he could potentially play alongside Kane. Batshuayi has nearly 10 assists in the league to go with his 17 goals. Kane & Batshuayi could compliment eachother well - Kane could hold up & Batshuayi with his pace going to be great pair.

Poch has played 2 upfront in the past, so its not going to be a surprise, if two play up front next season.

Steady on. We haven't signed him yet.

Really want this batshauyi news to be true, I'm hearing a lot of deals will be done by all clubs before the euros which is interesting.

We were a suicide squad in last game of the season. Now, Bat-man pairs with Super-Jan next season in same team...(y)

Nice show of early intent! Not that I'm into superstition but last year on Fifa UT I signed Alderweireld and Batshuayi. Next year I might go all out for Messi!

Great news about Bats... if true and fingers crossed, salt over shoulder and all that....

As for pre-Euros. It makes sense. Players and clubs alike are going to have precious little time post Euros as it finishes July 10th.
The third qualifying round for the Champions League is July 15th and playoff 5th August.

Players will need a break and then there's pre-season. Not the time when you want to be scrambling for players too if you can avoid it. Sure, a lot will still happen late August, but it does not surprise me that there is potentially a big desire to get a lot done before the Euros (I think Agents might want to stall things due to player values, but what's new).

Great news, and a great sign of intent if we get this wrapped up and announced early next week.

I have flown all over the world, on multiple airlines, and I have to disagree, Emirates the times i have flown business class with them picked me up in a Mercedes from my home, chauffered me to Heathrow, took me by Mercedes to my hotels the other end, delivered me back to the airport again, and at Heathrow took me home again in a Merc, I have flown Singapore and BA and neither did that, only ones who have bar Emirates was Malaysian a few years ago, Emirates service of business class passengers pisses all over any other airline, and the seats, food, tv and wines were well decent too

This made me chuckle it was all high level experience and then ended with this phrasing, like you just stopped short of saying innit

ell err, it's important to show our new signings that we mean to treat them well, so choosing which airline we use is you know...

:cautious:

As @Trix says though, we have been here before, let us not get too ahead of ourselves, but it's some positive news!
