You know what would have solved a lot of england's problems?

Switching Sterling and Lallana FFS.

Sterling doesnt have a left foot and got caught out everytime he tried to cut back FFS

England as a team lack guile, nous, street smarts or whatever you want to call it.
Couldn't get the final pass and when in position, the players often just lash at the ball instead of keeping their cool. Kane being no exception alas...
The subs weakened the team considerably too, and what Cahill and Smalling were doing when they equalized I'll never know...
Snatched a draw from the jaws of victory... I'll just have to get plastered now.

dier had a really good game
alli had a number of good moments as well and didn't look nervous at al- needs to be played slightly further fwd/ given more license to connect with Harry
Kane - didn't get enough service, worked hard
walker and rose - good games -- rose probably glad he has CE and not Sterling in front of him every week!

Most of the welsh people on my Facebook are happier about England drawing than Wales winning.

Thought England were excellent for a good 70-80 minutes of that game, really impressed. I know Sterling's end product has to improve but the balance of the team was good, Roy at least got that right.

Kane was not quite at it though, a few nice moments, one great flicked on header etc and worked hard enough but I just felt he was a yard slower tonight, physically and mentally. A sharper and more composed Kane and that could of been a cricket score.

I'd start with the same team against Wales, overall it was a very good performance that just lacked a little killer instinct.

Sterling not good enough. Thought everyone else was decent.
This is it, when you cost £50mil you best be able to trap a ball and pass it 10yards to your team mate. He was gash tonight

Can someone please tell Woy to take Kane off corners? Rooney or Lallana are better corner takers surely? Rather Kane be in the box causing havoc.

Wales England is a crunch game for England now and dear Gareth may just have a knockout punch for our lads

Not really. We could still lose that and then beat Slovakia to go through in 2nd or one of the best losers

True, but we'd be pretty bruised having only 1 point from 6 going into our last group match while losing to our 'smaller brother'.

Bale would destroy this defence, the spurs wing backs were brill though, our weakness is set pieces

Good interview by Dier at the end. Kind is really well spoken and obvioulsy pretty bright. Future Spurs and England captain.
