Potentially we could get France in the Q/F then Germany, Italy or Spain in the S/F.

We're screwed.

What does the other half look like

They're 3rd in their group at the moment going into the last game

I worked out the permutations last night. Only one of the potential results from the two games would result in Portugal finishing second. Portugal would need to beat Hungary, but with Iceland beating Austria by a bigger margin.

So how is it likely to finish?

Still 40/1 on William Hill... almost worth a cheeky bet with their half of the draw and a player like Bale who can pull some magic out on his own
They've got winnable games all the way to the final. And whoever they play there will have smashed themselves to pieces getting there against the other big boys.
Bale is such a great player. He pretty much gives them a goal a game. That, combined with good tactics and team spirit makes them a pretty tough opponent. I think one of Croatia or Wales could well win the whole thing.

Not a bad shout, especially if you can get 40/1 against Wales.

What about if both games draw (por 1-1 draw ice 0-0) doesn't it go down to yellows cards between Iceland & Portugal???

Strangely for a team with Pepe in it they have only had 2 yellows so far

If Mandzukic and Modric can be healthy and on form, Croatia are gonna fucking win this thing

I'd still expect Croatia or Portugal to do them.
