Does it not bug anyone that the Spurs offices (or whatever the completed building is) is not parallel to the new stadium ? Or is it just the angle of the photograph ? It (the building) appears to follow the shape of the road somewhat, but is at a considerable angle when facing the stadium.

The new stadium won't follow the exact orientation of the old one, so it will be perpendicular to the new one.

Edit - or at least I hope it will . . .

Draw a straight line south from the corner of Northumberland park and the high road and because the High road curves, by the time you reach Park Lane you are well across the other side of the High road, the new offices couldn't be orientated differently because of the houses at the end of Worcester Avenue, all very simple and probably only noticeable from the sky:)

It basically uses a laser to ping off items to measure distances and also angles. It's called a Theodolite.

When I see buildings in development I just have so many questions to ask. Like how the fuck do they measure distances and angles to ensure that everything fits together. I doubt they fucking buy one of those math sets from WH Smiths using a fucking compass, protractor and a ruler.

Don't even get me started on what's happening in those pictures. My brain hurts.

I bet Danny boy was dishing out a job lot from Poundland!! :p

The pedant in me hopes that we will not rely on the plans from Haringey Council, Their plans on page 2 of the Pictures and details thread show "Bacement" ...... hope they have shown the correct details of stress loadings etc!

Fantastic pics. Thanks for posting.

Does anyone know who owns the football pitch next to WHL. Is that council owned?

It is a part of the school. Most schools seem to have them these days. *Where I seem to live anyway... :D
