If Deir were to leave, could imagine Alli following him out the door. Both probably have a lot of suitors. Hopefully they both have long term contracts and the club continues to grow over the coming years.

Out of the two, Alli would most likely be first to leave, but I still don't think it will be anytime soon. I wouldn't be surprised if in alli's contract terms it states 'can my mate Eric come too?' Then dier peers out from behind him doing the Alli wave.

Mourinho can go fuck himself, as can man utd.

Is that you Daniel?!?!

Levy selling to Man U?

I don't think so. Although I'm sure they'd want him.

He didn't take the higher fee from them for bale. Plus there's still no love lost over the berbatov fiasco. AND we don't sell to premier league clubs even if that's where the player wants to go.

mat_k on COYS in regards to Dier: "Mourinho wants him big time. From a source very close to Dier. United don't expect to get him this summer but hopeful of next."

Interesting that this comes from someone close to Dier.

Interesting that this comes from someone close to Dier.

Walker always used to tell people about how Jose wanted him at Chelsea and he might be off there. It's just personal PR.

United is such a sideways/backward step these days, any ambitious player should be eyeing Barca or Madrid, especially someone who grew up in Iberia/speaks the language like Dier.

He can do what he likes, nobody poch wants to keep will be sold.

Completely agree. If you were a player in this Spurs squad why would you want to leave Poch to join Mourinho? Hoping the team spirit he is fostering at the club means no player wants to leave!

As far as Levy and the club are concerned, yes. But if a player wants out there is no point in forcing him to stay

EDIT: Levy tried to keep Bale, Modric and Berbatov but they all played up and went in the end.

And who says we won't? I am sure DL will do all he can to keep this squad together keeping in mind the move into the New WHL project. He/we/all want a strong squad going into this majestic stadium.

All well and good but to think we can keep these players on the cheap is fanciful, our wages are in great order but the flipside of this is that our best players will always be vulnerable to be picked off by bigger clubs willing to pay mega wages.
