I used to admire Manchester United in fergie years, they ran there club well had a philosophy but now they have become like their noisy neighbours down the road and those plastic mugs Chelsea. They lack any class what so ever. And I detest mourinho. Dier has far to much class to join those mancs
I think you'll find that footballers don't give a shit about "class". They care about money and trophies, probably in that order in the majority. Don't be naive and discount the fact that we are going to have to fight hard to keep this squad together in the next few years.

Any club with class would not take on Maureen.

I'm scrolling through the pages here, reading about Mourinho, wondering why everyone is so worried, because, I think to myself, Dier wouldn't bother going to Chel...

Like the classy way they got their players whispering into Carricks ear on England duty?
Or how they really stuck to the rules in the Berbatov transfer?
No time for class or decorum in football as there is too much money involved

First and foremost they care about Champions League football that produces the money. If all they cared about was money then West Ham would have made 20 signings by now.

I would argue Vardy proves the opposite, he took the safe option for the same money (contract extension), when most would assume Leicester will have less title prospects than the goons next season, although you never know with them! Same with Troy Deeney. As much as we would like to believe otherwise money is king.

If Schneiderlin was all about winning trophies and money didn't matter Utd wouldn't have had to treble their wages.

We will have to start matching these wage bills when the new stadium comes in, no doubt about it.

Vardy? Would have thought he could probably double his money at Goonland though?

*Edit - sorry A&C. Gone off track. I will desist.

We are and will for the foreseeable future be a selling club when the big boys come along with their fat chequebooks, it's simply the pecking order and we all have our place in it, anyone thinking any different is deluded.

If worst came to worst Levy would get £70m out of Utd for Dier
