You forgot Nabil who will surely be making way and possibly fees for proper fringe teamers like Grant Ward. That said you haven't included all our incomings yet either.
Nm was being a dope.

If other clubs want to pay good money for players who are hardly going to feature for us and we can pick up better players who will strengthen us and keep their competition in the squad motivated - and as a byproduct, we make more than we layout - why would anyone have a problem with that? Stronger on the field and financially.

It's the internet.

You'll find someone who has a problem with a butterfly sitting on a rainbow if you look hard enough! :D

That's how it looks currently (assuming Chadli goes). You're right, there will be more sales and hopefully more purchases!

I am OK if its just sitting there, but when a butterfly flaps its wings, it can cause a hurricane on the other side of the world....

Completely agree, I'm not being funny but if pogba's going for that kind of money, 17m for Chadli is decent.
It's all relative though.

Juve didn't want to get rid of Pogba vs we want to get rid of Chadli
Then you have to look at the respective income you can make for a player, for instance a player like Ronaldo has earned R.Madrid A LOT more than the 80 odd mill, and it's likely Pogba will do the same. ROI. Chadli will not.
And then you have a bidding war of R.Madrid and Utd.. none for Chadli
The fact that when selling to people with money you can get a better deal - know your buyer..
And media hype..

Amazes me that people still don't understand this

No I get that, you're completely right. Maybe pogba was a bit of a bad comparison on my part :)

All I meant was in the current market I see his value at more than 15, imo anyway. There's a reason people like me aren't charge of buying and selling players

But it all comes down to supply and demand. If Swansea are the only team interested, which it seems that way, and we've already basically bought his replacement. It's now either pay wages for a player we don't want, or make a profit on what he was bought for. I think 15m even in todays market is okay, it's all just a bit random. We bought Alli for 5m, Man Utd got Pogba for 87m. Players like Luiz go for 50m, and Alderweirld for 11m..

Er, no, sponsors want to see success on the pitch, so their name gets banded about as much as possible, nobody will see their name on the balance sheet will they. Why do you think Man Utd are so rich? It's because their success on the pitch attracts sponsors who make them rich, not the other way round.

I was talking about it from an investment perspective...Sales Revenue, Ebitda and other metrics are just as important at attracting investment.

Anyway £15m is fair deal for Chadli. Interesting it goes through.

At 15m for Chadli i would drive him there myself

Scored a few goals for us but offered absolutely nothing aside from those goals
