Aston Villa's new owner has set the target of winning the CL within 10 years. :ROFLMAO:

This has got Blackburn Mk II written all over it.

How did he pass the Wellness Policy or whatever it's called if he's got no money?

I was doing some filming at Villa Park the other day. First time I've ever been there. Absolutely cracking traditional stadium, the old style brick main stand is really cool. We were doing a crossbar challenge and keepy uppy challenge on the pitch with some tennis players etc. All the staff were very accommodating and lovely. Kind of pointless story, but being there, and interacting with staff members made me feel really bad about whats happened there. A big turnaround from absolutely hating Villa under O'Neill.

I want to a match there a few seasons back when they played Chelsea

Had a great day, like you said it's a traditional stadium but nice size too. The fans were quite decent and the applause for Petrov was nice but tbh the majority in the holte that day were pretty downtrodden and I remember thinking they needed a relegation to sort them out even then.

I jokingly asked the wife who they had in the first round yesterday. Didn't realise I was right :D

After losing their opening Championship game, now been comprehensively stuffed 3-1 by Luton in the first round of the cup. Obviously very early days and I think they'll throw enough money at it and turn the corner, but Championship is a very close league and a lot of the time about momentum. If they don't get a grip quickly it will be a long old season, again.

When I saw the result I assumed Villa played a really weak side but looking at that line-up if I were a Villa fan I'd be worried for this season.
