Cheers for posting!!

Interesting , think the proper player means an established player, big-ish/decent name, expereienced also, therefore no young'un, someone straight into the fold for example.
Definitely could do with one to push Eriksen at the moment. When dembele comes back into could see him taking his place.

Is Gards still considered ITK in regards to his posts being put in here?

Gards ‏@Gards44 16h16 hours ago
as always! It's never been on the cards! Oliver Burke, he is the one! Tough to get though but been watching him for a while!!

Calls the Yarmolenko rumour: Utter Rubbish

Please delete if Gards isn't still held in a high esteem and accept my apologies...
Not ITK bashing but this info was posted by @rebrab in the Burke thread yesterday so just wondering if it is same source or plagiarism by Gards.

Coming into the closing stages I think the best course of action is to not set your expectations too high. That way you won't be too disappointed.

Gards is a established ITK - Gards has said he doesnt get many news nowadays but he doesn't have any reason to "plagiarize".
As things stand, rules of ITK thread says JJ & Gards tweets can be posted as ITKs , unless mods remove it.

Yes well times change, and the club has needed to addapt to those changes. Levy has publically said what type of players we will be looking at. Poch has publically said what type of players he likes and wants to bring in. Yet we go through 2 months of a transfer window with fans hoping/expecting we get established top class superstars. Not only that but they are then dissapointed when we end up not buying them. You can point to the club moto and quote Billy Nick till the cows come home but unfortunately Dorothy we are not in Kansas any more. It is afar cry from the 1960's when those quotes and moto were relevant and unfortunately it is a completely different set of rules now as far as transfers are concerned.

If Bentaleb and Chadli are true sportsmen (and want to play on a regular basis) then they'll want to move. Not too long to see how this pans out...

I agree, however on the flip side. They both might want to stay and fight to show they capable again and get back in posh's plans.

Both would show to be true sportsmen. it's only if they stay and don't show any ambition to get back into the plans and just want a pay packet.

Good to see we approach the end of the window with the anticipation of the fabled "big name signing". It's the same every window and it very rarely materialises.

I expect it will just be Count Dooku and no one else. It will leave us short imo, with Eriksen as the only real playmaker in the squad, but I'm not expecting anything else.

They will not be moving anywhere unless a realistic price is set that suits all parties. I realise we've invested time in them, but it will represent a good return whatever we get.

I don't think we are going to spend circa £25,000,000 on a player either, but I'm still hoping we can do good business and get a first team squad player who will challenge for a starting place for half of that amount, or thereabouts.

so first Levy needs to agree deals and shift TWO separate players.
then negotiate with the club of the 'proper signing' to agree fee.

in how many days left before window closes?

this sort of ITK is best kept a secret
