Everybody! Peoples! Rich and poor! Let us wait until 11pm Wednesday. 3 more signings announced. If not there is enough arsenic to go round.

We're undefeated, 5/9 and because we've not splurged £50m on a player our season's over. If I believed in Jesus he'd be weeping right now.

We've addressed the gaping wholes in our squad ITK and media still linking us with players, so we're obviously still looking. We've the best manager since, I don't know when and if we can find a player he wants, who wants to come to us Levy will open the cheque book at a reasonable price.

It's not fucking rocket science, Isco would be awesome, so would Rodriguez one of them (it looks likely) won't make RM's CL squad so will probably be off, whether they come to Spurs is another matter

We've filled gaps but then done what Tottenham do best and sold/selling our squad players and as it stands/looks happening, we'll have filled 2 holes and created another 2 craters.

I think you'll find SC's chosen method of self harm after a transfer window is a rubber knife.

And my guess is it'll stay that way until Levy buys shares in Wilkinson Sword.

Maybe he's had stock options all this time and is waiting for the opportune moment to redeem them. It would explain his transfer policy.

From hertyid on COYS re: ISCO

I waited all day to hear back from my guy on this. He's currently in Malta, no idea why.
He says it's not bullshit, we have been speaking with his dad all week (?), Madrid want him away at least one year on loan and we have been trying to negotiate a deal with them that gets around his buyout clause for the permanent option next summer (I don't know what this is).
Will come down to the player, apparently Milan (or Inter, I could work out who he meant) also chasing. Player doesn't really want to leave Madrid but game time likely to be limited.

Sounds like a higher brand clear out that we've seen all too much this summer with Chadli, Mason etc.

Out:

Yedlin
Bentaleb (reluctantly)
Mason (sadly)
Chadli (unfortunately)

In:
Wanyama
Jansen
Ndokou/Zaha
Isco
Pau

Would be fucking delighted with that transfer window.

Is a loan deal really what we'd want? He'd have a good season for us, only for a bigger club to step in and take him or Madrid to want him back, whereas we'd then need to find a player to match what we had.

Perhaps not ideal, but far better than carrying on with no one to push Eriksen or Alli.

Why don't we try speaking to the player instead of their dads? (n)

That would give us plenty of variation and some exciting options as well as strength in depth - which is exactly the reason it won't happen!
