This picture really gives you the reality of the size of the new stadium in comparison to the current stadium
My fave pic for that so far:

Sugar may have calculated back then that within the next 20 years every game from all the leagues would be live on the TV, so who exactly would be coming to a 50k+ stadium even if they built it.
In practice, increased coverage has increased the demand for tickets - who would have thunk it?
hertyid on coys: Boxes have already sold out 70% apparently. Although there are less boxes in the new stadium than the old one.
The focus is on the VIP seating which is like Club Wembley. Most of the cheaper seats 2500-2750+VAT have sold out. 3500 and upwards still have good availability.
For me free beer at HT and some sandwiches is basically pointless. I wouldn't make use of it. And there's no way I could drink 60 quid's worth of beer in 15 minutes. So it's not worth it.
ST prices will def increase substantially. Arsenal ST start at just over 1000 and go up to above 2000 (for normal seats). My mate pays 1380 for a pretty bog standard seat. I can't see WHL being any different. So 25-40% increase sounds about right*.
*This is based on the fact our VIP seats are almost identical to Arsenal.... 2900-5750 is their pricing band, and we are 3000-6500 (all inc VAT).

If pricing goes up for normal seats, it will potentially backfire, we have the most expensive seats in the league when you consider that we have only 2 games included(tends to carling cup and europa league) as opposed to 7 extra games which is a mixture of carling cup and champions league matcheshertyid on coys: Boxes have already sold out 70% apparently. For info:
Nottingham Forest's 'Executive' stand and the 'Molyneux Street' stand at Wolverhampton Wanderers are almost identical to our 'West Stand'. The one at Wolves was the forerunner, swiftly copied and improved by the other two.
I don't think it is clear that the club has any intention of raising ST prices, I'm pretty confident that there will be very little increase for the standard tickets.
Ah, yes I was referring to behind the goal, where the noise is.Behind the goal and in the gods will be comparable. Anything with a decent view will be £1.5K minimum
behind the goals are where they want the atmosphere-makers to be, with the kop on the South stand and the away fans in the North stand, so encouraging the season ticket proles into those areas makes perfect sense for all.Behind the goal and in the gods will be comparable. Won't need much encouragement.behind the goals are where they want the atmosphere-makers to be, with the kop on the South stand and the away fans in the North stand, so encouraging the season ticket proles into those areas makes perfect sense for all.
It's impossible to know that.
You'll have to go on a guided tour the day before a game, sneak off from the tour group and lock yourself in the bogs.If my ST goes up any higher I will have to just go for the first season and then give it up...
I doubt the club will let me move to a cheaper seat. Been trying for 10 years without luck!
