Spurs eye Gaitan loan

Atletico Madrid winger Nico Gaitan could be ready for a January loan move to the Premier League.

Gatian, 28, has struggled to make an impact at Atletico since arriving and would be keen on a move to get playing again.

That could alert Tottenham but Atletico have yet to give the Argentinian the green light to go out on loan.
So the fact that "he has struggled to make an impact at Atletico" could "alert Tottenham"? Coz that's exactly what we're looking for...

he's from Argentina, too. Like Poch.

That means...

ah, no, it doesn't. It means nothing. The Mirror is one of those papers where, if you wiped your arse with it, you'd end up with more shit there than before.

We have such a good squad now but one more creative attacking midfielder would be good to give us more options. It's unlikely that any of the truly top options we are aiming for (Isco, etc) will move in January. Gaitan is a good player. Not a long-term solution but if he came in on loan until the summer I think he'd give us another option in the squad. In the summer if he'd been excellent, we could sign him permanently, or else move for a more high profile option.

If loan then hell yea. He is more polished than GKN IMO and depth at this point of the season is great. Not a permanent move for me, but loan? Sign me up
