Slab: horizontal mass of cast-in-place concrete; usually a floor.
Core: a large scale vertical support, often comprising lifts, stairwells, service runs and WCs, as well as major vertical structural components that hold up the roof and superstructure. There are 6 cores, the last of which is the reason for the demolition of the NE corner of WHL.
Footprint: fancy word for floor area. In this case, level 6 is smaller than levels 4 & 5. No surprise there, really.
