Are the sugary shite drinks companies looking to get into football then, doesn't seem an extreme enough sport for them TBH (i'm aware Red Bull sponsor their local team) now i'm racking my box trying to recall which football team signed a chunky deal with Gatorade not too long ago.

Personally other than the scantily clad females i hope we have nothing to do with the diabetes in a tin brigades but that's just me and i'm aware we need sponsors to pay the leccy bill each month.
Red Bull "sponsor" and own a number of teams...

RB Leipzig
Red Bull Salzburg
New York Red Bulls
Red Bull Brasil
Red Bull Ghana

It's something i feel we would massively benefit from doing so, whether it'd be possible is another question altogether :bag:
Exactly, as it should iron out any flaws and highlight any areas of concerns making the transition to the stadium hopefully flawless for the 1st home match the season.

I wonder if there will be a dress rehearsal in 2018 before the start of the EPL season, where we will be able to play most of our pre-season games in our New stadium
I'd expect at least one as I'm pretty sure the club would need to host a match to gain a safety certificate for full capacity or something

In the NBC Sports documentary mentioned in other threads, the NFL Chief Executive hinted that for the official opening Levy is interested in back to back games happening, in effect a whole day event. Personally would love that.

Chelsea are sponsored by Carabao, basically Thailands version of Monster Energy. So we wouldn't be the first.

Back to back NFL games or one NFL and one 'proper' football ?

The 2 cameras inside the stadium are offline.
How long before a 2nd rate bogroll "newspaper" runs a story that either:

We're putting the finishing touches on for an early opening or

The project has hit the skids and we're stopping work..

Sorry thought it was obvious, Spurs v AN Other followed by an NFL game or vice versa but as most NFL games take about 3-4 hours start to finish to allow for tv commercials etc, I assume the Spurs game would be timetabled first.

You're right. In order to get the Safety Cert they have to prove it's safe, it's not enough to show that they have complied with the requirements, they have to prove they actually can get the fans out as specified. If I remember correctly I think it's usually two games, and because the safety cert hasn't been issued it used to be free entry. That said I'm sure Dear Leader will find a way around that bit!

The current plan is to hold a number of test events starting early July 2018.

If the Olympic Stadium can stay open what kind of monumentally fucked up stadium do you need to build to not get the nod?

The critical factor is likely to be how long it takes to get the retractable pitch in or out.

Don't forget the people who sell the courses. I don't even ask people what they do for a living anymore. I ask them what physical item do they make. Too many people selling hot air.
