It wasn't down to luck, nor was it psychological.

The man clearly had acidosis.

To be honest I think his tweet was poor. He's a poor tweeter, we've had players that put much more effort in to their tweets and were far more successful with them.. He'll never make it on Twitter.

Worst tweeter the clubs had, Docherty was always better at tweeting.

Rasiak tried tweeting once but accidentally ordered an Uber.

Personally I don't really care how good or bad he is with Twitter. Players should focus on kicking the ball into the net and not social media.

I wish him all the best and I hope he builds his confidence and finds his form. He has a lot of talent but unfortunately was not right for the Premier League and the style of play here. Prior to joining us, he was pretty consistent with scoring.

Which is more than can be said about Bale. Not so much as a nod in our direction once in a blue moon
From this time last year...

“It’s obviously a fairy-tale from Leicester. Everybody looks at the table last season and they were 20th. Now they’re top. But obviously, I’d love to see Tottenham win it," Bale told The Times.

“When I left I always wanted to leave on a good note, and I always wanted them to keep progressing, keep doing well. They understood the reasons why I wanted to come here to challenge for the Champions League, and win it like I have. I watch them every week.

They’re doing really well. It would be an amazing story if we drew them in the Champions League. It would be great to go back to White Hart Lane, me and Luka [Modric].”
