Two weeks to go until Cheltenham, so excited, even with all the horses that are going to be missing. What would everyone's Lucky 15 be right now?

Mine would be:

Might Bite - RSA
Djakadam - Gold Cup
Yorkhill - JLT
Moon Racer - Supreme
So far i've put bets on

Forge Meadow - Mares Novices Hurdle
Monalee - Neptune Novices Hurdle
Sub Lieutenant - Ryanair Chase

All are non-runner no bet

I think VVM will end up in the Stayers race. Ricci has said he'll only run them where they have a chance of winning and, assuming he doesn't put her up against Limini, that seems her best shot!

At the moment, the weather seems to be setting things up nicely for UDS in the Ryanair, he's a pretty big price for such a classy horse.

Okay, question for you more knowledgeable punters than I.

Which is the better bet? Altior, Douvan, Uknowwhatimeanharry, Neon Wolf (all to win) - 15/2 or
Altior, Douvan, Uknow and Defi Du Seuil (all to win) - 10/1.

I'm thinking the 2nd as it seems better value to me, but I'm hearing very good things about Neon Wolf.

Is that to win any race, or to win a specific race?

There are doubts over where both Neon and Defi will run, so be careful!

Second one seems better value then. Although i dont personally think Defi will win the Supreme if that's where he runs.

I think I might hold off for a bit now. Although the second one is better value I'm starting to lean towards Neon Wolf.

Do you know when the deadline is for declaring which race a horse is running in?

Skybet are offering a free bet on the 1.30 at Cheltenham every day.

Well, it says every day but in the T&C's it says......

This offer only applies to your FIRST BET, on a horse that runs, placed on the 1.30 Cheltenham between 20:00 Wednesday 1st March and 13.30 Tuesday 14th March.

They usually say this for every free bet offer but in this case its created some doubt. Does anyone know if you get the offer every day or just the first time you partake?

I guess i'll find out on day 2 :D

The offer applies to your first bet on ALL 1:30 races throughout the festival. Although looking at the terms and conditions you may have to place all the bets by Tuesday.

I've used this offer the last couple of years and think it's really good. Paddy Power have one for all races throughout the festival, but you only get a free bet refund if your horse finishes second, where as this Skybet one means that even if your horse falls like a sack of shit at the first fence it doesn't matter. Plus you can use the freebet on any sports market as far as I'm aware.

Just looking at that Skybet offer again and in the T & C it says that it doesn't apply to the "Unnamed first or second favourites". Presumably that means at the time you make the bet, rather than the SP. Something to bear in mind that I hadn't noticed in previous years.

Just had a chat with Chelsey at Skybet, who I imagine has massive norks and cocksuckers lips............

It seems you can have the bet on the first race every day and on the day of the race BUT if you place more than one bet on that race its the first bet that counts toward the offer.

So, who do you fancy for the first race then? (apart from Chelsey, obviously :D). I think if Neon Wolf goes in this one he wins and I'll put him in an ACCA as he won't qualify for the bet offer. I'll then bet on another as insurance and hope for maybe a place plus my free bet. Thinking Ballandy or Movewiththetimes.

Neon Wolf for me in the Supreme although I may have a nibble on Bunk Off Early.

Not as keen on Ballyandy as some.
