They are remonstrating with the councillors, but the vote has been done and Spurs will play 22 full capacity extra games at Wembley if needed.

We now can play 27 games at full capacity. We already had 5 agreed. Tonight approved another 22.

Just out of interest what happens if we get to a Champions League/Europa League quarter or semi-final and we've already played our 27 games at full capacity?

Does this mean the club will do some kind of one off season ticket? Great opportunity for the club to provide affordable tickets for many. It's the only way we'd fill it anyway.

No reason why the couldn't do some kind of deal like clubs such as Bayern do and offer a season ticket (probably in the gods) for something like £200/300.

They'd have to arrange and price it very carefully so it doesn't piss off the current ST holders.

Wembley said at the meeting that we'd have full capacity for all home games next season. If we play more than 27, it will come out of Wembley's general allocation (worst case scenario for them, if we have deep runs in all the cup competitions and loads of home draws, is that the League 1/2 Playoff Finals have to be moved to Old Trafford - but this is highly unlikely).

Once our 27 games are used that is it. Even if it is a CL semi final we won't get the extra game. We will therefore have to manage the situation by playing a league game with 50K. Hopefully that will happen.

I would assume someone would have looked into it already. It's a chance for the club to give all current season ticket holders a bit of a discount before the new stadium too. Can't see why anyone would get pissed off. They get a cheaper ticket and we cram as many yids in as we can

The direct quote from the Wembley guy is "Spurs will be made the priority" in the event we play more than 27 games. I think Wembley have a couple of unused slots, and barring some ridiculous circumstance where we play 16 home cup games or something we'll have 90k for all of them ahead of lower-profile matches (e.g. lower-league playoffs, FA Trophy Finals) if need be.

I'm sure if we get similar FA Cup draws like we have this season we'd only open 50,000 or so. I can't imagine we'd sell 90,000 tickets for a game against a League Two team, even at £5 a ticket.

True, that would be interesting, but we obviously plan for the 'worst-case' scenario in terms of full-attended home matches where we consistently draw and beat decent teams.

Maybe it's optimistic but I think we could have got 80k+ for every game bar Gillinham, Moscow and Wycombe this season if the pricing was right.

Do people think that playing at Wembley followed by moving to the new stadium will help us attract top players for next season?

Could have an open day, buy a £5 ticket and bring the family. They'd still make cash money on the Krispy Kremes
