It was the same as the documentary originally shown in America that the club put up on the OS.Fuck. Missed it.
Just seen it's being repeated tonight 10:30 on BT sport 2

I went on one of the last stadium tours last week and the thing that really struck me is the height of the new stadium - it absolutely towers over the High Road and the existing stadium.
It's going to be incredibly impressive once it's finished but one thing that keeps sticking in my mind is how out of place it will look surrounded by the crappy area it's in - I know once the outer works on the public areas are finished it will be much tidier and smarter than it is now, but the general area of Tottenham has always been a hole and will continue to be. The stadium will be like an oasis and will look and feel really out of place.
Chelsea's new Reichstadion is, to be honest, much more in keeping with its surroundings. Brick would have been nice.

I keep saying the same. There would need to be 50 feet between the back row and the roof. It's bloody ginormous but I don't think it's going to be as tall as the cabs on the cranes like some have mentioned. Looking at that photo on the previous page, it just doesn't look possible. Not a complaint, just an observation.

It will be as tall as where the cabs are..........after they start to dismantle and lower them! There is no way its going to be as high as the cabs are at their current position, I will put a bet on that!I went on the WHL tour last week too and the guide said that it would reach the cab of the crane. I guess that's the club position on it. I agree it looks a way off. The roof must be massive ha!
The height of the steels on the East and West stand I think will be a bit higher. On top of that, the roof doesn't curve straight over the top row. There's access to the sky lounges above the top row of each stand and a bit more room between, so we're talking about a good 10-15ft, which you can see in some of the internal shots of the stadium. (1:18 of the video on the 'be there' section of the microsite is about as good a view as I can find in the space of 5 mins.) In addition to that, the roof has a camber for drainage etc, which isn't immediately apparent and as a large 'flat' area isn't immediately visible, so by the time you are at the centre of the roof ring, you've probably reached cab height. But yes, that doesn't mean that the external facade of the stadium will be that tall... but when you're standing at the foot of it, I suspect its scale means an extra 5 or 10 ft wouldn't make much difference! It will be as tall as where the cabs are..........after they start to dismantle and lower them! Tell that to my Mrs
Our surroundings are going to be demolished though, from the east stand down to Willoughby lane os to be redeveloped and across the High road the front buildings and an entire estate behind is being redeveloped along with White Hart lane station.Chelsea's new Reichstadion is, to be honest, much more in keeping with its surroundings. I think the stadium is setting the standard for the future surroundings.
There'll probably be a good 10 feet between the back row and the start of the roof, if not more, especially if there's glass between the back row and the roof like there is in the South stand.I keep saying the same. There would need to be 50 feet between the back row and the roof.
Ok, can anyone join the dots and see what it says.....
Good spot! I know it won't matter when the cladding is on, but the fact it isn't in the middle of the concrete core is annoying me.
