I don't think our players will come back from this. We played so well and I'm proud of them but just lacked the killer instinct

i would say up till now he hasnt, but still too early to say he will NEVER learn though. last season he was not flexible, this season we see improvement. hope this is another lesson learnt for him, not to fuck around with the formation on a cup semi
He didnt learn after last season or the the cap 1 cup final either. He's too stubborn. Bottom line.

Dreading the summer, we need to be winning stuff to keep these players, we lack a hazard sadly, son scores but rarely does much to influence games

Some Chelsea fan has a lot of pull with the devil, and has had for some time...

The amount of time we've dominated them and lost is unfathomable.

And this looks like a fucking thrashing.

We played well, to a degree. Ref has no real influence today. Our ability fold when the opposition apply a tiny bit of pressure is what's killed us.
I think the ref had a major influence
In the first half alone Alonso Kante and Luiz all should've been booked at least twice maybe 3 or 4 times in Alonsos case, it means for the rest of the game
Luiz fouls Kane and Dele time and time again to stop them, Kante does the same in midfield, if they are on yellows it's a different battle altogether

I feel like we were by far the better team from the time Kane scored until the time Hazard put them back in front

That doesn't mean anything though

We're a top side, we already know we could match and better Chelsea. We're not some little club who can be proud about playing well in defeat against the big boys

Very frustrating day, I suppose quality squad depth told in the end and will probably be the telling factor of the title race too

We have a very strong first eleven but one of our main weaknesses this season in an insufficiently strong bench. I hope we correct this in the summer.

What was wrong with the formation?

Everything good that happens to this vile club happens at our expense. We've played so well here, proud of the team. The psychological aspect of this could ruin our season if we're not careful

All about game management. No team wins stuff just by being good. It's the dark arts we need to learn and stop making fucking stupid mistakes in big games. Am distraught. Just fucking kill me.
