Disgraceful scenesdidnt like to see so many fans leave early, team deserved support to the end for that performance in my opinion.

Can't feel sorry for ourselves. Nor should we panic. Look at Brighton. Lost the play off final and was always the bridesmaid but they're up this year. We just have to keep doing what we're doing. It will yield results. Trust me.

Easy to say that now.
I said that before the match, but not on here. I don't like commenting on negatives before a match. We were almost superb, but we're not potent enough. They played a brilliant defensive-counter attacking game.

We will learn from this, and understand why we need 3 class offensive players.

You just can't go to ground like that, mate. If it was the other way around Harry would gobble that up and make sure he got a pen out of it.

Making a sliding tackle isn't an offence though. Diving is cheating. There was no contact, and was never a penalty in a million years.

We were shit for decades though. This was a genuine injustice.
Was it really?!

Hardly when we've been the architects of our own downfall in 3/4 goals.

Big teams put in big performances when it matters or, to put it another way, don't find ways to fuck it up when it matters.

We do and which is why there'll always be question marks over our mentality until proven otherwise.

Plus we've had a fucking tragedy at our training ground this week. For the team to be in any sort of mindset is admirable.

Agree that the referee was poor, but it has nothing to do with the result.

Remember that the officials also missed the Lloris handball.

A desperately upsetting result which probably means this team is not going to win a trophy in its current form. I feel this was a vital match for us to win. Please can people come on here and assure me otherwise.

We'll win the league. We seriously rattled them and they now know what they're up against.

Didnt watch the game decided to completely avoid it as feared this would happen as we just seemed completely destined to never win the FA Cup again so cant comment on the match at all. However given the result one thing that has crossed my mind over this season especially with our record away from home or at a neutral venues against the other top 6 clubs and this year in the champions league does the club employee a sports phycologist? If not surely they should at least give it a go other football teams and sports teams have been known to do so and help bring them success especially in the big matches. There must be some kind of mental block with us that we cannot win these type of games it cannot purely be down to luck!

Just watched the game.

Initial reaction is I'm pretty disgusted. I'm sure over time I'll reflect better on it but we have such a good defensive record and then when it matters we go to pot.

First we give away a cheap free-kick and Its a goal. Then the penalty I couldn't believe my eyes when Son slid in. Finally we get 10 corners and nothing, they get one and get a simple goal.

We were the better side for most of the game but what's it worth if the other side finds its so easy to score against you. Did they even have a shot on target from open play until their 3rd goal?

I'm fed up of seeing us fold in the big games and this is the hardest i have taken a defeat in a long time. Feels like same old.

We are almost there. We just haven't got that edge to win these games yet

I admire people that can keep thinking like this, honestly. Sometimes I wonder if we will ever have the "edge". In my lifetime we've probably had 10 completely different teams and none of them have had the "edge". Can something like this truly be engrained into the club? Surely it's just the players and the manager that count at the end of the day? And yet basically every time the same shit is happening.

we knew at HT when we were 2-1 down it was going to be hard, look at their bench.... it was always gonna be hard work with their bench if we were not winning.

The lads played well and we just didn't have the luck again.... It is all now about how we react, the players will say the right things but it really does depend how they perform at palace on wed as this could really implode our season and if it does

we got to start winning things soon as otherwise poch and squad will move on, but I don't think we will get much for a few more years until settled in to our new home

Wembley next season is a frightening prospect too
