Sunderland away was a killer, 0-0 moyes team never crossed the half-way line whole team behind ball, Rose injured, but only missed him at liverpool, pissed it down with rain like it does up north,

Rodwell should have walked in the first 25 minutes for a shocker on Dembele that night. Would have made it a completely different story. Most frustrating game of the season.

Could have a bonkers last day situation where we need to beat Hull for the title and they need to beat us guarantee staying up!

If we win our games...we still might be...football is a funny old game you know.

The best thing for us is for Chelsea to feel they have already won it.

True dat.

I couldn't stand it at full-time from Goodison, and busied myself elsewhere. I really couldn't believe it when I saw the highlights at the end of our game - they were celebrating with their fans like they have literally, beyond reversal, won the league. I know they have technically got a pretty easy run in. But as others have said, anything can happen. There was a stage today when Hazard, Side Show and Courtoios were all hobbling - on another day, they cold have lost a couple of them for a while. The Baggies may look like they have been on the beach for a while, but Tony Pulis literally has a secret basement lined with the pictures of the biggest clubs and their managers where he beats one out muttering I'll fecking draw with you fakirs. He's probably told his players to look ropey for a few weeks before hand just to lull the Chavs into a false sense of security (n.b. the truth may be considerably different to these last couple of sentences :) ). Middlesborough have just drew with Citeh and have a relegation fight on. Watford - which Watford will turn up. Hell, even Sunderland are the proverbial already relegated team with no inhibitions team. Any one of those could be a potential banana skin.

I'm not really holding out too much hope. At the end of the Everton match I pretty much thought that was it - what is important now, for psychological reasons, is to continue performing well and, hopefully, getting results. But having seen those colossal pricks celebrating like it is all done and dusted, it made me think they could be shooting themselves in the foot. We can only go into each match now hoping that we win and they drop points.

Don't care what money other teams chuck at their teams in the summer on paper we're favourites to win the league next season. It'll be the first recent year it's an even playing field with all teams playing Europe. Our away performance hasn't been incredible so we'd need to improve that. Obviously Wembley will dent our home record slightly but I think we'll quickly come to terms with it and I think we'll perform better than expected.

We're on such a charge right now, everyone can feel it. Poch is phenomenal. The trio of Eriksen, Dele and Kane will be even better next season. We're solid in the middle with what will be, no matter who anyone else signs, the best defence on paper.

Whatever happens next 4 games we need to go into next season fully believing we're gonna win the league.

There's not much area for improvement, we are on course for a record number of points which doesn't win the title. We would win the league with these results 95% of the time.

It is far more likely for us to go backwards, a little or a lot. It's just statistics.

Wembley, new players, losing players.

Teams at the top of the Premier League are never consistently good year on year, unless you are called Manchester United and your manager is Sir Alex Ferguson. We've already had 2 years at the top, we are far more likely to finish 3-6 next season than 1st or 2nd.

Might not have to improve to win the league next year though. Chelsea will typically have an injury crisis after none at all this year and European fixture. Liverpool have been nowhere near considering they had no European football, which they will next year. Manchester clubs will chuck money at their teams, but they did that last summer too. Stability is key in my opinion.
Might not win it obviously but we're definitely one of the favourites and can win it with this team.

The Leicester draw at home was also frustrating

That's one way to look at it.

Or it could mean we never give up and make sure Chelsea earn the title. Plenty of teams would have struggled to maintain our form, especially after losing the FA cup and seeing Chelsea keep winning.

I'd rather do that and end up at 89 points instead of seeing the boys take their foot of the gas and end up at 79 points due to repeated disappointment

Oh, I agree - we've surpassed our record points total with four games to spare; we've shown that we really have learned lessons from last season; hell, we could yet win the league. But..to repeat...we could end the season on 89 points, which most seasons would be more than enough to win it, having lost only three league games all season (title winning, normally), being the highest goal-scorers, with the best defence in the league and the best goal difference (potentially plus 50) - and not win the league.

I'm not meaning to belittle how good we have been this season - it's utterly brilliant. I'm not usually one to cry over spilled milk (he says, crying over spilled milk :) ).

It's bizarre how if we won our last 4 games we'll only have 1 point less than Arsenals invincible season.
Along with that I think of all the years looking at those amounts of points the winners got and thinking it was another world to Spurs. Now we're actually matching those points totals.

Hard to say if we've won all these games cos we're chasing Chelsea or not but the timing is quite frustrating. For example we're only 4 points off what Leciester got last season and Fergies last title.
Looking at last years final table it's clear to see though either the top 6 have all improved or a lot of teams have got worse below them, I think the latter.

I bet Nike are very pleased having the top 2 team in the country now.
4 more wins...
Probably won't be enough but who knows.

I think it's reassuring for next season as well, because you can't just say that big teams have had an off-season (like last year). We're where we are because we've been really good - we should be able to keep that up and challenge next year...

The problem is you can't rely or trust any team to do us a favour, no one seems bothered about stopping Chelsea, like West Ham with us last year and probably again on Friday.
