That was late '94 in 2nd round. Got drawn against QPR in the 3rd round (Jan 95), and did the infamous duck walk.
I had season ticket at Aylesbury for a couple of years. Think QPR was my last game as I went travelling in the Feb and never got back into it after that.
All went downhill after the Cliff Hercules era. Tempted to go see them play every so often as they play at my local team's ground (Leighton Town) but it's about £8 per ticket.

Ah yes, I remember the game, and the cup run well! Loftus Road was a good day out wasn't it?! Lost 4-0 from memory. Cliff Hercules - I used to dream about being as good as him, dreams were shattered when I saw him driving a UPS van or something on a match day! Good times though and really sad what's happened to the club since.

Conte really has a face you just want to slap. Ive just watched a part of his press conference and my god he's going to be unbearably smarmy when they win games.

I really wouldn't be surprised if Conte was gone in a year or so. He may be a good manager but he looks very strict and looks like has hard training methods and with that vile **** John Terry still there I can see them getting another manager sacked.

Did anyone just see the Conte press conference a couple of minutes ago on SSN?

Someone asked him a question about will he be there next season because 4 of the last 5 title winners left their job the next season. When he finished the question, Conte turned to his translator for clarification and the translator asked him exactly the same question... in English! And then Conte answered! No one seemed to pick up on it but it made me laugh. Dafuq!

"The Blues are trying to redevelop their ground as success continues on the pitch but their project manager couldn't help having a dig at their rivals

The director of Chelsea's stadium project team has had a cheeky dig at Tottenham as the clubs both prepare to upgrade their venues in the coming years.

Hugh Rosen is leading the development on behalf of Roman Abramovich as the west London outfit look to match rivals Tottenham and Arsenal by building a 60,000-seater stadium in the UK's capital city.

In a rare question and answer session, which took place at an event honouring Eddie McCreadie, Rosen told ex-Chelsea player Jason Cundy about the club's plans and.

"To be fair to Tottenham, they are not just looking for football," Rosen said. "They are looking for American Football, looking at rugby and as far as I am concerned if they can't win at football they are welcome to try any other sport they like.

"For us, Roman [Abramovich] gave us one brief, the whole stadium, the billion pounds or whatever it is going to cost, is about winning football matches. There is nothing else. There are no pop concerts, no boxing, no American Football and no other team, just our home priority.

"Everything was designed around the existing centre spot, it doesn't move and everything revolves around that. Here we are, 112 years into our history trying to rebuild our stadium for the fifth time on our own site, around our own pitch.

"There are 13 London clubs, this is the only one that has never moved home ground and never will move home ground."

A date for the completion of the project has yet to be set, but Rosen gave an update on why the club is being patient as they look likely to play their football temporarily at Wembley Stadium. He also gave an update on the architecture of the stadium which has been based upon London's iconic Westminster Abbey.

Chelsea shouldn't be allowed to take the piss out of anyone ever. They are only successful literally because of Abramovic's money. Never mind the fact that what we're doing is a whole regeneration of the Tottenham area whereas what they're doing is purely for Chelsea FC and Chelsea FC only, which is very much in line with the attitude of a recently retired captain of theirs.

I listened to their club historian on the radio a couple of months ago. he was speaking about their history. Underwhelming, even from their own mouths. Set up by rich Tory MPs who figured that following Spurs' FA Cup triumph, football would be a great way to make money. Used as a cash cow for the next 50 years before they won anything of note. They never grew out of their local community, hell they aren't even in the borough whose name they bear.

I can't wait for Abramovic to piss off and watch Chelsea do a Leeds.

Abramovich is merely the latest (and probably the most cynical and most dishonest) in a line of obnoxious operators to own that club, stretching all the way back to the brothers Gus and Joe Mears who founded it 112 years ago. If you were to take away the Tommy Docherty/Dave Sexton years, when they won some trophies while being a watchable team, and the Abramovich era, there'd be nothing to talk about.

So if Chelscum are ever offered a large amount of money to stage other sports or other events, they'd turn down the offer? Yeah, right.

It is a wonder of geography that Stamford Bridge is on the same block as Fulham Broadway.

It is also a wonder of science or maybe magick that the club historian has forgotten about Clive Walker -
Aka 'Flasher' .. A willy waver up there with Rolf Harris and Ken Dodd
