I want to play in the charity shield. If we could win it i think would be huge, would put the wembley "hoodoo" behind us and give our young squad a little taste of winning something.

It's a minor point but we hold a record, alongside United, as being the only team in England to win a trophy in every decade since the 50s. We have two seasons left to keep that record intact. Would the Charity Shield count?

I know it's little more than a glorified friendly, but it would be weird if the best team we've had in decades is remembered as the least successful team we've had in decades.

Imagine wanting Arsenal to win at anything.

I saw someone post earlier somewhere;

"I don't even want their fans to win parking fine appeals"

We have had our best season in years yet as usual win fuck all and the gooners have their worst season for a while yet look likely to win the cup fucking unbelievable.
Although as a footnote we did well this year and that in itself was an achievement even if it proves to be a one off we were superb.

Be happy for them and congratulate them on their fine achievement. After all, Spurs only managed to qualify for the Champions League once this season, whereas Arsenal managed to qualify for the Europa League TWICE.

Not to me. I don't give a shit about the charity shield. I couldn't tell you how much of those we've won.

Don't know why anyone's laughing at them. 2nd isn't a trophy. The FA Cup is. The one game I was sure they would lose and they screw us over again. I am so peed off right now.

lol @ people taking it personally.
It's incredible stuff in all honesty, anyone would think they'd just beaten us in the final.
Some are even asking how long we should give Poch without winning a trophy.
It's fucking mental.

How long would you give Poch without winning a trophy? 10 years? 20 years? 26 years?

People can ask questions. I get you're more of a superfan than riggi but what is wrong with the question on a day when Wenger has won as many Fa cups than we have in our entire history?

Because it's knee jerking. The question comes up just as Arsenal win a trophy. Why does Arsenal winning a trophy affect how long Poch gets as our manager? Completely unrelated.

It was a question that I was curious about. I've actually asked it (maybe not on sc) for some time. Funny how I haven't stated how long I think he should get yet apparently it's knee jerk...

People can ask if they like, and I'll laugh my arse off at them, why wait until today to ask? Why not when we lost the semi final or the day the chavs won the league?...I know why, it's because they've been gobbling off to their Woolwich mates that Chelsea would smash them today, and now they look like ****s.

Nothing to do with being a superfan...it's not Pochs fault Wenger has won as many Fa cups than we have in our entire history.
Fucking embarrassing fanbase we have sometimes.
