Great news about Costa if true. Despite Rashford being very good, I'd but gutted if we even considered selling Dier. Can't see that happening anyway.
Agree. However good Rashford is, he doesn't fit our system at all. Dier is far too important to our team. We would have to buy 2 to replace him.

gilly on simb: Jannsen gone apparently. Poch not remotely interested in keeping. Dier can go only if they give us rashford. This costa thing has legs. Love to have him.
Cheers dov, you filthy filthy whore you. Anyone know what this guy's track record is like? Would be extremely surprised if Janssen and Dier were available this summer

I'd be surprised if Janssen wasn't available. Worked hard, but never really looked up to scratch.

Rashford for Dier? Sounds like a fantasy football rumor...Janssen on relatively low wages, isnt he? Don't think there's a major need or even benefit to sell.

I think @yankspurs has it on the money personally in that clearly there won't be any deal to be had involving Dier for Rashford so does seem all moot.

Dubious as to our appetite for Costa in that the level of financial commitment needed to obtain him would be excessive for us albeit would definitely give us another dimension. Having said that, where exactly does he fit in when all fit? Hmmm....

Said it before but i'd be surprised if we jettisoned Janssen but guess that's on the basis for me that we'd only sell if we got an offer too good to refuse - can't see that materialising and in any case I believe he'll be much more settled and a bigger factor in the peripheral matches than has been in his first season.

Yeah, I think the point with the Dier comment is that United would likely never give us Rashford, so why would we give them Dier.

We were informed the Dutchman was toast at Christmas, they way Poch utilised him since then would back that up.
