I don't want Rose to leave but if this is true it's not the of the world. Prior to his injury and Walker's 'issues' we were all raving about how they were pivotal to our success. Granted Davies is limited and Trippier lacks Walkers pace but we've done no worse if not better without both Rose and Walker. You're talking the best part of £100-120m if they're both sold.

Wtf are you on about? Nobody has posted anything that looks like they're remotely worried about it?

Because there are not quotations regarding Rose leaving are they Spurrific?

Swellhead Spur, I think you need to relax and stop worrying about other people.

His interview the other day suggested he was staying. Think he said he understood why someone might leave but there were good reasons to stay. Really can't afford any kind of exodus...

You said "everyone crys" [sic], as if posters are dropping to their knees and crying their eyes out, emulating the scenes in North Korea after Kim Jong-Un died.

Neither of the posts you quoted look to me like they were made with teary eyes.

Find it really hard to see Rose asking to leave. Walker doesn't owe that much to Poch because it was Redknapp who first put him in the team and he played for England pretty early on in his career. Rose, however, has to thank Poch for his career turning around.

Didn't bale owe thanks to avb for turning him into a forward and giving him free reign to be the top scorer .

I think loyalty in football for the most part is rare on all sides. You're loyal until something shiny distracts you

I certainly don't believe it's nailed on that rose will stay

It's ironic as there appears to be only one person in this thread that hasn't taken the Dad post that well.

Agreed.

I don't want either sold, not for any money and not just because they are great players but more so because it reinforces the narrative of us being a selling club who can't keep their best players.

But the real star player is Poch, we could sell them both and we'd still be just as good sooner rather than later

Both are considered to be 2 of our best players and 2 of the best FB In the PL, maybe even Europe. Personally couldn't give a shit about the money, we need to keep our best players!!

Is what you get when you sell your right back. The door is open to others, and the likes of Rose thinks why should Walker leave and get 200k a week, I want that too

why do you even bother coming on this forum? are you a troll? its always doom and gloom with you. weve just finished 2nd. highest points total, records broken across the board. have a fantastic new stadium in place. man the fuck up for crying out loud. your seriously dull as shit.

I'm hoping he will stay but realistically the money is not at Tottenham and they are attracted by the money.

Based on his interview i think he'll stay this year but actually, for a footballer, it was quite a clever interview and did contain a bit of warning/shot across the barrels to Poch/Levy i.e. match the players ambitions or they're off.
