Not sure that they negotiate. They just ask "How much do you want for X?" then slap the wallet on the table.

Im sure that they do. They wouldn't be mega rich if they were that stupid with money.

At the end of the day they are looking at wrapping up a 3rd major deal in the space of a week and the season has only just ended.

That is pretty impressive although I do sit back in envy.

Nothing impressive about spending big money and paying big wages, that will probably give you an insight as to how they've managed to wrap up their signings so early :D

You're joking right? None of their wealth has come through any real business savvy. They are basically spending money brought about by a nations natural resources!

Ian Beale has more credibility as a businessman/entrepreneur than City's mob.

Unlimited amount of money you never had to earn in the first place? That's why it's so easy for them to wrap up deals early. They must be a piece of piss to sell to! They don't have a clue about the value of money.

Levy must be secretly looking forward to any Walker negotiations...he'll bend them over all the while letting them think they are greasing him up!

Really rather Liverpool didn't sign Salah. Seemed to be a bloody thorn in our side for both Basel and Chelscum. Most probably because we're the Yids....

They dont have a proper academy, due to the catchment

Instead they sign players from across the country at 15/16 and even then their numbers are really low.

They have more of a scouting system than a proper academy

They similar man city in that hunt the nation for the best prospects

Sure, but to say they have no academy wasn't quite right. They track and talk to kids from 12 onwards, bring them in from 15 onwards and have U17 teams and upwards I think.

It's actually a bloody good system, they get to cherry pick and they take players from national academies like Clairfontaine. And they don't have to pay fortunes to these kids like City do, wages in France are so much lower. Their academy has had a great reputation for years, people like Henry, Thuram, Petit etc all came through Monaco.

They are reported to have offered nearly £90mil for Mbappe, if so, he has never thought was the way to go before so why is it now, alternatively if it is the right way to go why hasn't he done it before, he has had the money.

Then why haven't they always signed players early then.

Mane and Salah is some serious pace. Considering how much Mane entered us without permission last season I wouldn't look forward to that next year
