Even then, not everything gets in, there are some things that are old, or have already been said that aren't worth repeating. Not everything gets in. We look at it on a post by post basis and it isn't really an exact science, we go by instinct and by experience of what is and isn't worth including.

I would be incredibly disappointed if we sold Lamela and bought Barkley. Okay, if Lamela can't get back to his best and the injury has left him permenatly damged. It would suck but such is life, but there is no way we will know what level Lamela will be able to return to by the close of the transfer window. And I would rather keep faith in Coco then cast him aside before we know for sure. I would hope Sissoko will go, but if we do get Lemar then I don't see how Barkley gets near the starting line up. If anything we should be looking for a CM, someone like Kovacic would be ideal. Barkley can't play CM.

So, JJ say we'll be quiet for a spell. Which makes sense as that's our normal MO. I hope (and assume) Poch is aligned with this, because others have indicated he wants most business done before the start of preseason. That seems very unlikely. My hope for Poch is that the outgoing part of that ask would be addressed by then, as it's easier to manage a squad of players without the cloud of departure hovering above.

OK, I've just checked the age rules and as of last coming season you have to be born on or after 1st January 1995. So assuming the same rule applies we have CCV, Winks and Onomah who were born on or after 1st January 1996. So that could affect how many we could bring in. But maybe it's not for this thread?

Meh....it was your language just as the US, India, Australia, Canada were your colonies. There are more than 4x more English speakers in the US than U.K. Hell, Both Nigeria and the Philippines have more English speakers than the U.K. And as we all know, English evolved from French and Germanic languages anyway. I will admit one thing though, the word soccer is a British invention.

I initially thought the rules for U21 in the PL were the same as for the other age groups, i.e. midnight on 31st August, but their not, and I forgot about Dele. So yes he will also be U21 this coming season. That said I would be surprised if any of those 4 would not be in the PL squad, although they could be legitimately left out for incomings over 21 if necessary.

You misunderstand. There is a separate list for u21s. No matter how many we bring in, the u21s will not be in the senior list.
