Think i might get the elite one seeing as it's supposed to be that little bit better, still £90 for a football shirt is fucking ridiculous, the retro heavy cotton ones from toffs are so much better.

I had a look at them in Nike town in Regents Street today, the elite looks really nice. Very good quality throughout. The regular kit not so much though, it looked a bit cheap to be honest. The material doesn't look the nicest and the stitching looked a bit suspect in places. The presentation in store was good though, we have equal billing with Chelsea so worth checking out for those of you who find yourself that way.

The new nike/spurs snap backs are really nice, saw them in the Harlow spurs shop yesterday, had them in blue or white. Not a bad price either £20 I think

If the fits as crap as I hear, I might give them a miss.
What's supposed to be wrong with the fit?

My friend bought the home shirt on Saturday and loves it

(he's a personal trainer and in excellent shape so loves to by his football shirts as "painted on" as possible)

Hearing its baggy and the arms are big...

Ridiculous. I've never liked that shop though, the staff are horrendous to try and deal with.

Something I've noticed about Nike. The replica shirts are increasingly becoming very poor quality each season, clearly an effort to get more elite shirt sales. However what's interesting is that the lower league clubs that Nike supply who don't sell elite shirts seem to end up with much better quality shirts.

I'm also a cobblers fan. Last season our away shirt was of great quality, seemed like an elite shirt when compared with the elite shirts on sale for prem clubs. However the home shirt that you would assume they would sell more of seemed to be of lower quality.

What I think is a shame is that the under armour shirts seemed to be of good quality.

Nike Tottenham Hotspur 17-18 Home Kit - Online Sales (Until 2 July 2017, 5 PM UK Time)

Replica: 1021
Women's: 85
Elite: 268
Youth: 296

Nike Tottenham Hotspur 17-18 Away Kit - Online Sales (Until 2 July 2017, 5 PM UK Time)

Replica: 1238
Women's: 99
Elite: 217
Youth: 233
Little Kids: 394
Baby: 117
Away Shorts: 153
Socks: 179

Logically, the data only reveals how many shirts the club sold in their online store and does not reveal how many kits were sold in total yet (e.g. Nike store, independent retailers). It is nevertheless utterly interesting to see in detail how many Spurs kits were sold of which version. In example, the club sold 1021 Replica home kits (60 GBP) and 268 Elite (90 GBP) in the first 41 hours.

Love the kits but it is just too much money to spend on a shirt I might only wear 3 times in a year so it's a 'no' from me.

Interesting that from replicas and elites alone they'd have made £135,540 + £43,650 in revenue in 41 hours.

I'm the opposite, I wear them constantly and for a long time ! I'm still wearing the Puma shirt with the yellow streaks - just around the house you understand, i'm not a weirdo who wears them everywhere I go. IM NOT OK ! So to me they're worth the cash.

I get the impression that the elite shirt is more fitted shirt, tighter on the arms and just generally has much nicer quality feel to it. Naturally though you will pay more for it as a result. Not sure I can bring myself to pay £90 for a shirt that we will have for 1 season. It will be all change again next year with the shield being dropped and us reverting back to the lone crest.

The standard replica sounds like it's a standard fit with the sleeves being more open and squared off as it were. Definitely not for me and even that is £60. Yikes.

I've personally opted for the training top as this will largely work for many seasons to come and it's generally nicer with a pair of jeans. Comes in Navy as well.

As my birthday falls around about the first game every season I usually get bought the home shirt every year anyway. Despite being nearly 30. If I were to spend my own hard earned id probably go with some training gear as it doesn't age.

I've got the training top from last year with the zip that goes down about a third and wear it to games and for training etc. I'll keep that for years, yet I'll probably only wear a shirt for a season.

60/90 quid on a shirt that is essentially a £15 shirt with a sponsor on is outrageous. Don't get me started on the kids shirts....
