I thought he did ok for us so no real beef with him. Got Adebayor playing well again and we got some good results. Done well with the young lads at Spurs for years as well. I would have liked him to have done well for another team but Villa was a horror show. Not as bad as Garde though

Scored against the Arse too

he said he expects Kane to see out his career at Tottenham but with caveat that only club who could prize him away is Real Madrid

He’s back with more delusion. Where we are now as a team has absolutely nothing to do with him.

Tim Sherwood on his Spurs reign, that win record and how he set the platform for Mauricio Pochettino's success

Oh come on. Surely it's a bit harsh to say where we are now has nothing to do with him. Take this quote for instance...

“That’s ultimately why I felt the young players deserved their opportunity and there really wasn’t any reason for them to not have the same opportunities as the players that had been brought to the club for between £20-40m. I gave them a chance and, look, then the likes of Kane, Bentaleb, (Danny) Rose and (Kyle) Walker were all integrated into the team.”

Now, if you look at the facts, you'll see that in 2011-12, Kyle Walker played a mere 37 Premier League games out of a possible 38, became PFA Young Player of the Year and made the PFA team of the year.

Then in 2012-13, Kyle made only 50 appearances for the club and, in October 2013, he was given a new contract on improved terms that only lasted for six years.

Surely, this was a player on the fringes with no future at Tottenham. Lucky for us, then, that Tim Sherwood took over in December 2013, gave Kyle a chance and integrated him into the team.

Well done, Tim.

I think this from the Redknapp “Modric couldn’t get a game before I got here” school of bullshit proper football geezer self promotion.

We should all thank him as the players and fans responded more to Poch as they could see the lift in quality, dedication and a clear tactical plan after Timmy’s reign.

The fact he’s still trying to glean some shread of credit for it all is just the icing on the cake and for that I salute you Timmy

He's bound to feel bitter that he didn't get the job long term. I'm glad that he didn't but i don't feel anything like dislike for the guy. He doesn't provoke any response in me. Apart from this post obviously.

My personal favorite of Harry, was Bales best position will always be left back. Against a backdrop of him marauding the left wing scoring and assisting and us playing make shift left midfielders for years before. Redknapp was clueless.

Gets a rough ride Imo.Mock The % all you like But can’t dispute it. People moan about dull managers like Puel at least he was entertaining.None of us know his exact input into the likes of Kane and winks, but hard to say he didn’t do a good job on the youth.Really hope he gets a decent job and shuts everyone up. Would love him to manage a top 6 club one day imagine the verbals with say a pep or mourinho be hysterical.

He was embarrassing not entertaining. He was and is inept as a manager, he won't get a decent job or shut anyone up and doesn't deserve anything like a top 6 job. People who do are people like Hughton or Dyche who have done good jobs under difficult circumstances.

He definitely had his good points but undeniable flaws as well, the following press conference is a good example:

Why does he say at the beginning he would have got Spurs in the champions league to at the end saying Spurs were always going to struggle to get in the top four with seven new players having taken out a load of goals. How is it possible to give so many mixed messages in 4 mins.
