Could the South American player be Gaitàn? We have been linked with him before, and he should be able to play the pressing game since Atlético chose to sign him.

Like a few on here have already said, the Juventus player would likely be a player they would like to keep for Breezer to be amazed if we managed to secure his signature. I reckon Bonucci, Higuaín and Dybala are completely off limits for obvious reasons. Pjanic would also be a big ask, but it seems a bit more likely as he started only 25 league games last season and gets subbed a lot. Also, I'm sure it would amaze quite a few of us;)

Could be one of their ones for the future? Kean, orsolini or rugani?

Yes it would be amazing as he seems to be at the centre of everything creative for Juve, but we have always liked him and he knows that.

If I was a betting man I would put it on Pjanic

Going back a fair while now, but once upon a time JJ confirmed our interest in Pjanic ( 2011 I'd imagine ), so he is a player that we have coveted as Jamturk says, and he will be more than aware of us. Much like Son, when we sense there is a player available that has been on our top level wish list then we tend to act more decisively. Much like we apparently threw the kitchen sink at Isco last year

ITK linking us with a Juve player, but one it's going to be a stretch to believe we'll sign. I'm not going to try and guess a name, but more try and judge the type of player.
I'd rule out the elite players straight away, those most would dream of us signing, due to sheer cost. Transfer fees would be big, wages even more of a stretch.
Secondly I'd rule out any of their older players, Poch doesn't strike me as the kind of manager to sign sheerly for experience sake. He places great value on athleticism and hunger to improve.
Which brings me to the third, and most likely band of players. My guess is it'll be a young player with potential, someone who's perhaps not currently a regular there, and as such we feel could be worth trying for, however, perhaps of such potential that Juve are maybe unlikely to agree to sell.

Just a thought.

I think most of our business will be like that. Juan Foyth being strongly linked now. Vincent Marcel being touted a few weeks back. May just tie in with previous ITK, two main signings, plus potential replacemts, then a couple of projects. That's probably our MO going forward, and I'm leaning toward that being a decent plan, so long as the scouting of projects is on point. We have questioned for some time 'how come we don't find these players that (insert random team name here) do, then we buy them a season or two later at huge mark up'. Well, the fact is, for some time we needed to close the gap from UEFA also rans, to become CL regulars, so we needed to source players that could lift our level. Now we are pushing for the top, our squad is very strong, we can start and be more selective. We've lifted the level, now we concentrate on maintaining that though a production line of players that fit out needs, rather endless repetitive summer churn.

I did think the same thing. I think we are always keen to go back for players we've targeted in the past (that haven't regressed). I think the same could apply for Pjaca too.

Juve are reported to have wrapped up Douglas Costa, are close to signing Bernardeschi and are apparently also lining up Keita Balde. On that basis I'd say Pjaca definitely looks surplus to requirements and would fit us perfectly as another Son, with pace, goals and versatility.

Don't see Juve selling Pjanic or us still wanting him as he would definitely block Winks.
